Just got out of a rough relationship with a girl and looking for something to entertain my time. Something that would just be fucking awesome to do. Any suggestions?

EDIT: Also something I could do in class is preferable, I have an easy semester.

If you have a macbook you can make music, in class even. That's what I've been dedicating myself to, recently switching my major, but I had it as a hobby for years before that. There are tons of tutorials for free online and there are ways to get the -cough- software demos for Ableton -cough-. If you take my meaning, arrg.

If you like electronic music at all and have a macbook or something of equal power you have no reason not to really.

Oh, and one other thought: Have you ever been to a music festival? It's not really the season any more, but when spring comes I'd look into that.

I say this because I had a rather harsh break-up with a woman I still consider (sadly) the love of my life, and I was pretty much a wreck until I went to Snowball and Wakarusa. When I came back from Wakarusa in particular I felt like a whole new man, no longer weighed down by the shackles of what I had lost but rather just excited for what the future holds.

Straight up: Music festivals are life changers, it's the modern answer to ancient rights of passage.

Honestly though, for stuff that you can do in class...I would read a lot meself. Good way to pass the time, take your mind off things, and it's easy to pull off in class. I'd recommend "Ender's Game" by Orson Scott Card to start with. Excellent, compelling sci-fi novel.

it may not be badass, but you can probably get away with fly tying in class, and then you can go fishing later, which is manly and stuff, also grow a beard!
