i need a games and a ps3 list FAST.

okay, my parents are leaving soon for the states. i need a quick list of stuff.
i'm getting a ps3 slim, but i need a lot of room. how much GB will i need? what options are there?
here is a list of games. i need you to expand this.
NFS hot pursuit
mass effect 2
infamouse
god of war 3
black ops
littlebigplanet
DR2
red dead redemption
just cause 2
Assassins Creed (if there is for ps3)

Stay away from Mass Effect 2 if you haven't played the first one because of the way the game brings stuff from the first into the second.

um... I have a 500 GB drive, but that's if you want to store your music library, movies, and games on it. Comes in handy. 250GB is perfect if you plan on having a HUGE game library and don't wannt worry about how much space is left.

I would say the easiest thing is go on EBGames or something. It would show you that assassin's creed is for PS3 and give you details you need.

From your list, I would say:
Mass Effect 2
Infamous
Black Ops
Assassin's Creed (start with the first)
Red Dead Redemption)

LittleBigPlanet 2's out now as well, so if you like the first one, check out the sequel.
Modnation Racers is essentially LBP, but for Kart Racing, if you like the whole creation heavy game, look into that one too.
Uncharted series is great. (As you just mentioned.)
Demon's Souls is great.
Ratchet and Clank Future series is great.
God of War and Sly Cooper collections are also on the PS3, if you didn't play those games on the PS2 the first time around, or you had to sell them or something, give those a look.
God of War 3 is also great.

Unless you already have them or have played them on the PS2, the god of war collection which consists of GoW1 and GoW2 on a single disc for the PS3 would be a nice addition to GoW3 so you have the whole trilogy, they're really nice games.

Only one person mentioned Ratchet and Clank Future? I am disappoint.

I suggest Ratchet and Clank Future. And the Sly Cooper Collection.

Also, keep an eye out for the ICO/Shadow of the Colossus HD collection this month.

I rented the game and didn't get the option for the storyline.

And the OP doesn't mention if he has a 360. I'm assuming this is his first console. And therefore I would say "Don't buy a 360 JUST for Mass Effect 2, and don't wait to play it, it's wonderful"

Hm...PS3 only games would be, for me, Resistance and Resistance 2. All my other games are available on the 360 as well. That said, if you like co-op, get Resident Evil 5 and Modern Warfare 2, then let me know if you need help. I got all the trophies for both games and I love playing them.

Nobody ever mentions them but I think there great games, that bring a new twist to racing games ... motorstorm!

They start off so easy but my god do they get hard near the end. You should give them a shot, although the new one is out soon.

GET MASS EFFECT 2 THE MOMENT THEY SEE IT!! dont listen to people complaining and bitching its an AMAZING game

also, Gran Turismo V, Its the greatest greatest racing game there IS in the whole WORLD, you HAVE to have it.

Metal Gear 4 (if you dont have it, its worth it)

...practically any frikken exclusive there is, but looking at your list i would say you HAVE to get all the assasins creed games THIS INSTANT...
