My brain is in dire boredom, so I need a good game that I could enjoy, any Suggestions?
PS if possible, make it a steam game, 'cause I is a proud PC gamer.(also because of the sale)

I don't if the sale is still on, but Supreme Commander 2 is 75% off, it's a fairly fun game, nowhere near as good as the first one, but the battles are still massive and a game going all the way to tier 4 doesn't take three and a half hours like it used to.

Pathologic, The Void, Grim Fandango, Diablo 2, Silent Hill 2, Freedom Fighters, VVVVVVV, American McGee-s Alice, etc.

Also in about one or two days Super Meat Boy is arriving to PC!

From today's steam sale:

Mount and Blade
Orange Box
World of Goo (for 2.50!)

Sure, a pc gamer who doesn't own those already is kind of out there, but you never know..

what kind of games do you usually prefer? I can think of some more that probably aren't on sale but aren't more than 20 bucks that I think are great.

BIT.TRIP BEAT is on sale today if you're a fan of electro music. And World of Goo is $2.50. I bought it for a dollar during that Humble Indie Bundle sale, but I would have gladly paid full price for it. Hands down, one of the best indie games I've ever played in my life.

Well, I sort of like the Mass Effect games, and I like modern shooters, and Civ 5 & AoE III both are favourites.

So, action-rpgs?

Deus Ex (1 and 2)
Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines
System Shock
Bioshock
Fallout series
Elder Scrolls

Have you tried Bioware's other games? Knights of the old republic, Jade Empire, Dragon Age?

Can't really help you here. I've heard good things about Arma 2, but I've never played it myself. Crysis, maybe? More futuristic shooter but I thought it was really good.

RTS is another genre I don't have much expertise in, but I loved Warcraft 3 (and its XPac) as well as the Dawn of War series (Dark Crusade especially. So good.)

Oblivion.

Then download a few mods for it (there are tons that can add a few hours of gameplay time, there's one that's pretty much a full $50 game that's a free total conversion that is sadly only german for the moment, but english subtitles are done IIRC and an english version is on the way.

Steam's having one hell of a sale on right now. I heard good things about Mount and Blade Warband. And you can't go wrong with The Orange Box for $7.50 USD

I really wish people would be more specific and tell of what type of game they like

(steam games)
"Clones"
like lemmings.
"Ghost Master"
tactical scaring the hell out of people with various horrors and ghosts.
"Hammerfight"
unique controls game.
"Hitman blood money"
stealth and/or shooters. You can do either.
"Sacrifice"
a good game with WONDERFUL voice acting.
"Aquaria"
metriod style game with heavy exploration and visuals.
"Plants vs zombies" and "Braid"
if you never played them before.. They speak for themselves.
