Stranger Than Fiction.
Idiocracy.
Rat Race.
Iron Man.
Defendor.
Any of these work? If not I can provide more.
I've seen Rat Race(hilarious, underrated) and Iron Man(a little overrated, but I'm biased against super hero movies)

What are the others about. A very brief summary will suffice. Just need background plot and maybe major actors/actresses
Stranger Then Fiction is great, and even friends of mine that don't care for Will Ferrell (I'm not a huge fan myself) loved it. Will Ferrell finds out he's the main character in a book being written by Emma Thompson, a reclusive best-selling author who's protagonist in each of her books dies at the end. Great performances by everyone.

ALL of Hayao Miyazaki's films are bueatiful and thrilling, providing a sweeping sense of scale and adventure. Espescially princess mononoke and spirited away. watch them now!

"Modern Times" and/or "City Lights" if you want some Charlie Chaplin, "Grave of the Fireflies" if you want a great movie you never want to watch again, "Silent Movie" if you want something made by Mel Brooks that nobody seems to have watched, or maybe "Brazil".

Crash is a really good movie. It will bum you out and make you feel like a terrible person though.

GoodFellas. If you dug Gangs of New York, you'll probably dig GoodFellas. Both great pieces of work from Scorsese.

Doomsday, the one from 2008. One of my personal favorites and fun if you're into the post-apocalyptic feel.

The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly is a great classic film, one of the best westerns ever made. Certainly one of my absolute favorites. The Entire "Dollars Trilogy" is really good actually.

I just watched I Saw The Devil last night, now that's a movie everyone should watch, that one, and Oldboy.

They Live! It's a John Carpenter film, and I just finished watching it a few hours ago (on The_Root_of_all_Evil's suggestion) and it's excellent. If you like science fiction, it's a great film. Don't look at any synopses or reviews though, just watch it!

Same goes for Confessions, a Japanese film. The less you know, the better your experience will be. Suspense thriller.
