hellmarch rules!
It certainly does man. There's nothing better than the Hellmarch. On topic, I highly reccomend the sequel to Red Alert: Red Alert 2 aka "Red Dawn RTS the game".
i found that one to be equal to RA1
the increased gameplay makes up for the slightly loose story and increased "cuteness"
i thought RA1s grityness did it credit, but RA2 became a bit too colourful
however, we can all agree that RA3 is practically a positive argument for abortion by itself
ok, thats overly harsh to say the least, but if you argue, you have not played the game. or at least, played it and 1+2
so einstein has been removed, no bomb on japan, so they get more powerful. i get that.
but what about what einstein did with hitler, does that still apply? and where is this in relation to the first war, the second war and the smaller war with yuri[expansion pack]
before any, after all, or bypassing all?
The stuff with Hitler still applies. Cherdenko, Krukov, and Zelinsky took Einstein out of the timeline at a conference in Brussels in 1927. If you remember correctly, Einstein took Hitler out of the timeline when he was released from Landsberg prison in 1924. So Hitler was well out of the way before the Soviets got to Einstein. This still relates to the timeline of Red Alert 3, but I just don't know how the Allies could have won the first war against the Soviets without Einstein's help. From what I understand, Red Alert 3 picks up with the Soviets winning the second war (I assume). It's pretty damn confusing and silly, but that's the name of the game with the Red Alert series.

Most have been said already, but I guess I'll just name a few I have since I only really have older games on my PC.

Morrowind, Kotor I and II, Star Wars Battlefront II (PC version = LOLSNIPER), Age of Empires II... and I would say Freedom Force, but I can't get it to work on Vista :(

I've been playing System Shock 2 for a couple days now. It is quite superb, and being 11 years old, plays rather nicely on my piece-of-shit laptop.

-S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl
One of the most atmospheric, engrossing, and downright horrifying FPSs I have ever played, and well worth the cash (especially if you install mods like Oblivion lost or Stalker Complete 2009).

-Cave Story
Best. PC. 2D platformer. EVER. (it's free, too!)

-Jazz Jackrabbit 2
2nd Best. PC. 2D platformer. EVER. (not free, however...)

I'd recommend more, but since you stated that your Steam account is banned I'm rather limited on what I can recommend unfortunately.

RPG: Baldur's Gate (buy the 4-pack including BG 1 and expansion, BG 2 and expansion).
There is NO better RPG, no matter the specs of your computer. DA:O *wishes* it were BG2.

FPS: Deus Ex, System Shock 2, Thief 2 (latter not strictly FPS, but that perspective and an epic game).

RTS: Starcraft, Dawn of War 1, Nexus the Jupiter Incident, Warcraft 3.

That covers my preferred genres.

I honestly don't know how this got three pages without recommending Fallout and Fallout 2.

*Diablo.
*Diablo 2.
*Icewind Dale (It bored me, but it's by the Baldur's Gate guys).
*American McGee's Alice.
*Heroes of Might & Magic 3, 4, or 5.
*Neverwinter Nights & all the premium mods, especially the pirate one.
*Neverwinter Nights 2.
*Elder Scrolls Arena/Daggerford/Battlespire/Redguard/Morrowind. You can mod the last one & make it look new.
*The pre WOW Warcraft games.
*Any game by Spiderweb Software, Amaranth Games, or Aldorlera (fka Indinera Falls).
*Wizardry.
*Arcanum.
*Any game preset on search over at Game Banshee.
*Grim Fandango or any LucasArts classic that will eventually end up revived by TellTale.
*Stubbs the Zombie.
*Serious Sam 1 & 2.
*Fable TLC is good for a laugh.

Okey, for newer games go to this site. You pick a title, it scans your compy & tells you if you can handle it. http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri

These are all good and easy to run. By royal decree (i am the king of my own private universe) I order you to play all of these games. have fun
I were with you until you said you liked Heroes of Might and Magic IV.

You should NEVER say that in public. There are worse fanboys of HoMM III than I am.

at least 2 was understandable, and 1 was just brilliant
