Scrap the middle name, and just have a middle initial. Something cool like X or Z. Imagine introducing yourself as Samuel X. Broderick. When people ask what it stands for, you can be all mysterious and secretive...
Seconded. My middle names are James Joshua. I just use J. Thus: Joseph J. Archibald.

What about Sverre? It is my middle name...

Ok, I think I will suggest going with the name of one of your grandparents, great-grandparents or something like that, there are usually some good ones there.
Plus; it is easier to explain to someone that your middle name is "the name of your grandfather" rather than "Danger" or some other name in the same category.

How about just J? Homer J Simpson and Phillip J Fry and Rocket J Squirrel and Bullwinkle J Moose would be your best friend!
Homer's middle name is actually Jay, IIRC. The name rather than just the letter.

EDIT: Totally forgot, you could use von! Samuel von Broderick has a ring to it, no?
like Samuel Xavier Broderick?
Or Samuel Zasalamel Broderick?

OT: Eustacius, Bonifatius, Egrecius, etc. also get the queen to call you Sir. then get the title of Esquire. So you'll be

Sir Samuel Eustacius Broderick (I), Esq.

Martin

I think that's a great name. My middle name is Andrew and I'm ok with that, and I plan to call my son Alexander (if and when I have one) but I love the name Martin.

Mine's "Soevdsnes", but that doesn't sound that awesome in Britain though..

Wichers because of the badassness (And it's the last name of the world's best guitarist's; Peter Wichers of Soilwork.).

If you can get it, a title would sound awesome too, a title brings more girls to the yard than a middle name.

Samuel "The Doctor" Broderick.
Yep, that sounds awesome.

Ok. here's the back story; I need a middle name... That's it for back story.

My full name is Samuel Broderick.

But I want a middle name, I have always wanted a middle name and being 19 and thus old enough to change my name in the UK I need suggestions on what it could be.

As much I would like to change my surname. My parents say they would disown me if I did. Which is fair enough. So that's off the table.

So, thoughts?
A timelord has no middle name.

And if they do go with awesome!

I don't have a middle name but I'm the third in my family that has douwe (It's a regio name) as it's name.
Im kinda confused. Is that supposed to be region, rego, or some word i havent heard before?
Not normally a spelling angry guy, but i spent more than 30sec trying to work out what it is (and i thought the idea of having a Rego as a family heirloom is pretty cool)
what the heck is a rego?

uhhm my name is douwe, it's a name you won't find in an other country as Holland...
better explanation?

edit: I found this kind of image when googleing rego, but is still don't know what it is.

Ironman! You'd get so much nerd cred but not as much as Sony Playstation, that's a guy's real name. It was in the Guinness book.

Tiberius. me and my friends went away to this things with a bunch of other schools and he told people his name was Tiberius. got so many girls
Of course he got loads of girls...It was Kirks middle name as well!!

I personally fell Octavian would work as it keeps the S.O.B initials AND its a kick arse name in its own right.

There is one in Norway that have changed his middle name to "Kolaautomat", which in English is "Coca Cola Dispenser" or something. Also, there are 13 people in Norway that have changed their name to "Mom".

And then we've got the infamous Norwegian named Julius Andreas Gimli Arn Macgyver Chewbacka Highlander Elessar-Jankov.

I would go with two middle names if I were you. Watch this;

Samuel Augustus Shanahan Broderick

I mean seriously how cool is that. Or you could just go with a short and strong one:

Samuel Steel Broderick

Not really good I admit but your initials would SSB wich I think is nice.

Edit: Shanahan means wise.
