fallout new Vegas, minecraft, if you want an older one you can download heroes of might and magic 3 off good old games. It's a turn based strategy with big fantasy armies under your control. I love making a necromancer army and turning all my enemies into skeletons for my armies.

Plants Vs Zombies has to be one of the most addictive games I've played. It will run on a 10 year old PC too.
This.

I've played the free version and I was dissapointed that I was literally told that I cannot play any further unless I buy the full version.

Now I'm trying to decide whether or not to buy it with the money I have right now. (Curse you lack of disposable income!)

As for me, I'd probably reccomend Team Fortress 2. Especially since it's free now. Although that depends on how old your computer is.

I'm in the same boat...though I've decided to wait until the next big Steam sale for it. You can easily get this game for $5.00 with any patience...and probably $2.50 if you wait until New Year's sales.

hello there,

i own a ps3 and like playing games on pc (although my pc is very low tech so no recent game recommendations)

and i need to find a new addictive game, preferably online competitive,

just to make it that much harder,
I don't like fps' which most of the ps3 one's seem to be,

to give people an idea of my game interests,

i play
fifa, runescape (don't go off on 1), 3d platformers - sly cooper games are a big fave and a bit of everything as long as I can get into it.
Tonight, on intervention. . .

Also, most of the PS3 games are FPSs? Huh? I have Assassin's Creed 2, Batman, Crysis 2, Dead Space 1 & 2, Dead Rising 2, Demon's Souls, God of War 1 & 2, Mass Effect 2, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Rainbow Six Vegas, and the first 2 Uncharted games. That's 1 out of 7 games for FPSs.

I've been thinking about tone a lot lately. Hopefully you get that the first line is a joking response to the title of the thread only.

You can get it on Steam?!?

*Rushes on to there to see the price* Geez, that's half as much as Shockwave's price. Thanks for referring me to there!

Well, these are single player but both the two recent Fallout games and Plants VS Zombies come to mind. They should both be controlled substances.

For multiplayer stuff you could try out League of Legends or any of the other DotA inspired games out there. My lil brother and his friends play Legends as a team and seem to be having a great deal of fun with it.
