Okay, so I need a new game. Ive reached that temporary point where right now Ive beaten most of my games and played so much of the ones that I love that Im a little tired of them now. I need a new game to hold me over for just a little bit before the new season kicks in for real. I have most of 2010's big releases, including Mass Effect 2, New Vegas, Red Dead, Reach, Black Ops, Fable 3, and most of their predecessors.

Only restrictions would be that it has to be an Xbox game. I would prefer recent games, if possible, and JRPGs are off limits. not a JRPG fan. XBLA games are fair game.

I would greatly appreciate any and all suggestions.

You seem to like shooters, so I might suggest Metro 2033 unless you got it.
I haven't played it myself though. Ordered it a few days ago, so it should come on Monday, but from what I've seen it seems to be a great game.

Save your money, wait for brink. That is all ~

Also, homefront looks promising, buy rent it first just in case.

Here ya go, one look at this gem, and you'll never need another game to play.

Finally! Not enough people know about this game, seriously I couldn't recommend anything more!

(Oh my god... that music... it reaches inside my brain and it won't leave *twitches*)

OT: I agree with most people here, can't go wrong with Ass Creed. Metro 2033 is a good game if you like atmosphere and aren't too fussy about how the FPS mechanics are. Also Just Cause 2 is a good fun game if you're not too fussed about unrealistic physics and a lack of serious story!

As for Dragon Age, I loved both Mass Effects but hated Dragon Age... so yeah, that's just me.

As has been suggested, the Assassin's Creed series. If you haven't played 1 or 2, I'd highly recommend them, then moving onto Brotherhood.

Probably should have thrown up that I have both ACs too. COmpletely forgot about them.

I also played origins, so Im looking at DA2, and Metro did look really good. Bulletstorm, Im waiting on. Seems like it oculd be fun, but would get old really fast, which is what Im trying to avoid.

So what we have so far is:
Dragon Age 2
Bulletstorm
Metro 2033
Just wait for Brink
Viva Pinata
Jade Empire

Keep em coming guys, I appreciate it!

You might want to try the demo first but Torchlight just came out for XBLA. I played it on the PC and loved it. It's like Diablo (just incase you hadnt heard about it theres a point of reference for you) so it's a western RPG. I personally enjoyed Alan Wake, if you like psychological games give it a try. The Elder Scroll games are pretty good, granted Skyrim is coming out at the end of the year. The first Bioshock was amazing, I havent tryed the second one yet. It still has a little while till it comes out but you might want to keep your eyes open for Rage, if you like Fallout and you havent heard anything on it yet you'll want to check it out, bethesda and iD are making it.

I say you get Psychonauts.
This is what I was going to suggest.

Fuck today's triple A games. Dragon Age 2 looks good but for the most part, current games aren't worth your money. If you're looking for a genuinely good experience, go back a couple years and play Psychonauts - you will not regret it (and it's only like 20$ these days).
