Yup. Imagine it in Guitar Hero... Man, I wish they would make Guitar Hero: Mature, with that song and Steel Panther. That would make the greatest game in the franchise.

Amon Amarth - Viking Death Metal
Dethklok - Fictional Death Metal band from the show Metalocalypse

I think Nile is worth a listen at least. Extremely technical death metal with strong egyptian influences. Absolutely fantastic, give it a try.

And here I was, convinced that the Eagles of Death Metal didn't actually play death metal. Now I'm confused again.

Just some random recommendations...uh, try Ensiferum, Alchemist, Swallow the Sun, Job For A Cowboy?
Oh, and I just discovered this band...yesterday; Between the Buried and Me. They're some weird mix of deathcore and progressive metal, but they list death metal as one of their genres so I'll chuck that in too.
