I need help identifying a game

Today, I found a silverfish scampering along my wall. After seeing what a bizarre insect these things are, I immediately remembered that they looked kinda like an enemy from a game I had played.
Since I'm a bit masochistic, and my already sleepless night needs even less shut-eye, I need help remembering the title of said game.

The most I can recall, is that the game was on the Playstation/Playstation 2. The enemies were parasites that infested a host's body through the mouth, and as I said before, they look like silverfish:

Ugh Silverfish are creepy, not as bad as Earwigs though.

I vaguely recall a game like that but for the life of me I can't remember what it was. Will have a think about it.

Sounds like Resident Evil 2..when the one boss would force a parasite type thing into the "host" until it was ready to come out.

Well Aliens vs predators is pretty much the only recent game with those aliens crawling down peoples throats and making a nest
