So, unfortunately I have no money for Skyrim at the moment. That said, I decided to re-install Oblivion and add some mods to it.

Now, so far I have the Unnoficial Oblivion Patch and Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul among a few smaller add-ons, and i've run into a problem. Anywhere that there is a treasure chest, it is instead replaced by a giant yellow diamond with a ! in the middle. If I remember correctly, this means that the texture or model for the treasure chest can't be found, yet I never deleted it.

Is there anyone who could maybe help me fix this? Oblivion is basically my only PC game and I have no idea what i'm doing when it comes to modding. Any help would be vastly appreciated.

basically it means the the treasure chest is missing a texture. one of the mods you have added has introduced new treasure chests by the look of it and the textures are missing or in the wrong folder. my only suggestion is to systematically remove the mods one by one until you find the culprite
I've disabled mods one by one and it appears to be the Oblivion Overhaul that's making the chests disappear. I'm not sure how to replace it though. Is there any way to fix it?

Thanks for the help, also.

Check OOO's FAQs, I am almost sure they had a specific section about missing models.

I recommend the Nehrim total conversion mod. I uninstalled Oblivion right after I completed the main quest and never looked back, until I heard of that one. It's sortof like Oblivion except with a different story and not being shit.
