Ok, guys, I need your help once again.
I like this girl, and she likes me, I've done REALLY well so far I just need that one thing I could do to make her go awww and just fall over that edge from liking me to REALLY REALLY liking me.
I've known her for a couple weeks now, and she has already become a GOOD friend.
suggestions?
Right, you probably haven't had many sensible suggestions (I'm not checking eight pages to find out), though some will have been alright. I'm usually in this situation though so I can give some advice, though it doesn't usually work for me that's because I've only tried this once, and it did work. Actually I didn't expect the reaction I got, but it was still pretty good.
At my old high school I fancied this girl who was also one of my closer friends, and it was her birthday. I'd intended to get her a card but forgot, so at lunchtime I went into the town centre to a card shop, bought a card, then bought a £10 gift card for Debenhams (UK department store), hid the gift card inside the normal card, and went back to sixth form. I intended to give her the card myself but events occured which meant, to cut it short, I gave someone else the card to give to her in the next lesson. Shortly after she recieved it I bumped into a mutual friend who said "(Insert name here)* wants to see you, she wanted to thank you for the card." It then transpired that the girl in question was a huge fan of surprises and this was one of the sweetest things she felt that anyone had done for her. Five minutes later she sees me in the corridor, runs up and literally cannonballs into me and gives me a huge hug, and keeps hugging me for about five more minutes. Needless to say she was pretty pleased.
As it happens we only stayed friends anyway in the end, and we're still close friends now even at different universities, but the point still stands. She was really happy with that because it was a surprise, so I say, find out what this girl you like is interested in and then surprise her. If she's into music, get her tickets for her favourite band, hide them in a card or something and give her the card. If she likes Furbies then get a Furby and hide it in her locker or something with a note. Be spontaneous and surprise her, and show her in that way that you're interested. Best way IMO, it worked for me (sort of) so it'll work for you too.
[small]*Name omitted because I doubt this girl would want me to be telling random people on t'interwebz who she is, even if she is unlikely to ever actually visit this site.[/small]
EDIT: Damn, sorry OP, just realised that you posted about closing this thread. However, I would recommend that it stays open perhaps so that other people can post about their experiences and/or advice and learn from it, even if your particular case has ended.
