Not gonna lie, you're probably not gonna make it.dragonslayer32 said:I am 234lbs of pure muscle baby! well, partly muscle. I am 6ft5 and i walk everywhere. I have a part-time job in a bar and go to uni, both of which i walk to and back from. I am stumped, I really can't understand it.
From the sounds of things your weight is predominantly muscle mass, and that's not going down via diet.
I did a calculation of your daily necessary calorie intake based on the information you provided. In order to make your goal you need to be dropping 4lbs a week. That's well into dangerous weight loss territory (we're talking doctor supervised).
With the following data:
age: 23 (I guessed)
weight: 234
height 6'5"
activity level: light
goal: 4lbs/wk
your reccommended calorie intake is no more than 1044/day. (which is CRAZY low)
with the same info but activity level at moderate, it bumps up to 1512/day. (more doable)
now granted, this isn't factoring in workouts and what have you - but bear in mind - you need to be doing cardio: running, cycling, rowing - not weightlifting to be seeing weight loss, and you'll see better progress if you don't factor your workouts into your daily limit.
It's likely that if the bulk of your weight is muscle, and you're already very lean, you're going to have a hard time getting that weight off, no matter how little you eat.
