Front Mission, if you haven't played it on the SNES.

And the entire Ace Attorney series.

New Super Mario Bros is always a solid choice. As is Mario Kart, Star Fox, Metroid Prime Hunters, and the Mario & Luigi RPG series. One game that you might not have considered is Metroid Prime Pinball which, in the tradition of Pokemon Pinball, is actually a fantastic game.

@Quaidis

No, you dont have to pay to play PS0. You did have to pay to play Phantasy Star Universe's online game mode on Xbox 360 and PC, but PS0 is all free, and a great Action RPG/Dungeon Crawler with good local and online multiplayer modes.

Back @ Hikaru CF:

Is PSO a type of game that would be better off being multiplayer? Or can someone enjoy it without having to access the internet or find others with a DS? It looks like something I may pick up.

I also decided, all because of this thread, that in the future I will find and purchase The World End with You, Zelda: Spirit Tracks, and I will look further into Etrian Oddessy. If I find a Castlevania or Metroid used for a good price, I will pick up one of those as well.

For some inexplicable reason I want to buy Rune Factory 2. Playing a farming sim while bored? Unheard of! But Blast it all is that game hard to find at a good price.

Bleach: Dark Souls
Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier
Mario&Luigi: BiS
Megaman Starforce 3: Black Ace.
These should help.

Hmm...Luigi and Mario Bowser's inside story is a good one. Now if you want to pass time while also improving some motor skills i recommend Brain Ages 1 & 2

The World Ends With You
GTA: Chinatown Wars
Phoenix Wright (All of them)

Oh and if you want to get addicted to a game without knowing what the appeal is; try Animal Crossing: Wild World.

I spent a good year consistently playing AC.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Elite Beat Agents.

My favorite games on the DS. They are excellent time wasters.

Not sure how to explain Ace Attorney, so here's [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phoenix_Write] the wikipedia page.
Elite Beat Agents is a rythem game, but its really fun, at least for me. Here's its wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elite_Beat_Agents

Good luck finding a copy of Ace Attorney under $60 USD. Last I searched, the original game is almost impossible to find in English, considering how Capcom shipped so few copies.

A good nostalgic game is Kirby Super Star: Ultra, starts out easy, but gets harder around the fourth small game included.

Also, N+ and Chrono Trigger DS are amazing.

True. I bought the game by a friend recommendation. I got the last copy in the store :D

Is there anything new in this version of CT? I already have the snes and ps1 versions.[/quote]

Sry late reply - no I dont think there is anything new, just redesigned interface and touchscreen support. Although there is a classic mode which reverts to the original layout.

The World Ends With You.

The best DS game out there.
I have seen this in my local game store, could you please tell me what kind of gameplay it is and what its about? I have heard a lot of people talk about it, what makes it so fun?

Can I suggest that you STAY THE FUCK away from Eragon. It the worst game I have ever played ever. Ever. Second worst is Burnout Legends DS. Both are crappy ports from their more advanced counterparts.

I enjoyed Phantom Hourglass. Final Fantasy III would be right up your alley and although I haven't played it yet I've heard that the Kingdom Hearts DS game whatever it's called is pretty well rounded.
