Final Fantasy Crises Core. I don't even like the series, but everyone assured me it was SOO freaking awesome. Then I played it, and it was just like every other JRPG. And here I was looking forward to finally dusting off the PSP.

Well son, someone has to teach you about how things work and it looked more like you were annoyed in you first response, who hell can tell if someone is joking over the internet anyway?
Here's a good rule of thumb for ya, Pops: if you can't tell, always assume they are!
I got a better idea, put /jk at the end of your joke. I do it, it's hip son.
Fuck that. I'm running away. I hate you! You ruined my life!

12GB hard drive? What the hell kind of old crappy PC are you running? I have a laptop and it still has a 101GB memory, enough for plenty of games not to mention all the music, videos, coursework and other stuff I have on there...

Anyway, I didn't really regret getting any games since I only ever buy games that I specifically want to get and won't get bored of soon enough. However, I do regret getting rid of some games. In particular, Alter Echo on my family's PS2. Not sure how many of heard of it, it's a clever little action game where you basically fight your way through different levels and have to solve puzzles, as well as shapeshifting between three forms (stealth, sword and gun modes). You need to use all three forms to get through different parts, too. A friend of mine who had it for his old Xbox recommended it to me and I've recently begun to regret selling it after playing through it several times. That was a good little game :D.

Majesty 2 was simply a poor sequel to a good game and Tropico 3 added nearly nothing to the series. Tropico 2 was bad, but at least it changed things up, if a little too much.

Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. It's one of the few games I got without reading a review and/or seeing someone else play it first. It totally threw out a lot of what I liked about Sands of Time.

Guilty Gear XX for the Wii. The control scheme is so poor that it kills the game. There are a few games that I regret buying mainly because I've hard;y played them not because of the quality.

So you'll explain about Psychonauts but not about not wanting the wii?

Er...
If you must have an explanation, please refer to Yahtzee's reviews of: Madworld, Wii sports resort, and the conduit.

also the fact that there is no possible way to make a good fps on the wii.
Yahtzee is not a reliable source for reviews, especially for Wii titles. His entire point is to be a troll in a humorous manner. Hell, almost every complaint he had regarding the Conduit could be resolved in the menu options.

And there's an entire thread proving your point on Wii FPSs wrong on here right now.

In summary: you're full of shit, get your own opinion.

On topic: Red Steel the first.

[quote/]However, Modern Warfare 2 remains my all time highest on list of stupid shit I paid for. Fuck IW for what is essentially a 60 dollar piece of shit.
Now that I have given you an explanation(or at least, someone else's expanation), please elaborate your opinion of modern warfare 2.
Please refer to every article written about bad exploits, hacks, cracks, cheat and trainers, general MW2 community and how IW screwed it all up by throwing out the private server system which was perfectly good and implementing the short bus system which sucks balls.
Did someone not tell you the other day, to "fuck off"?

If you don't like the multiplayer, then don't play it.

It's only one third of the game.[/quote]

Which is a fine thing to say if the multiplayer wasn't the reason I bought it, but it was so I am entitled to my rant. I was under the impression that this was the thread to complain about stuff we wished we hadn't paid for. If that is indeed the case, why are you trying to solve my problem with this game, and why is this even up for discussion. To quote you: What are your most regretted gaming purchases? Way to sabotage your own thread.

None, my game's are usually gifts or heavily researched before buying

I suppose the new prince of persia ran thin after a bit, but I still enjoy it, and it was a gift.
