Gauntlet Seven Sorrows. I loved Dark Legacy and I was so exited for Seven Sorrows but it turned out to be one of the most boring games I have ever played.

We've all done it. We've all paid full price for a game that was complete shit. I paid full price for Fracture and Alone in the Dark. What about you?
I even preordered Alone in the Dark. I think I remember crying myself to sleep the night I got it, it was so terrible. I think that is the only game I've regretted paying full price. I usually by used or off eBay so I get the games cheaper.
I feel your pain man, I pre-ordered it too. The only thing that made that better was that I also bought Battlefield: Bad Company the same day.

I'm... I... There was... No...
I've never bought a bad game ever. Research and reviews, never fails to amaze.

Goldeneye rogue agent cost me 65 euros. worst purchase ever.

Oh yeh i also bought Kane and Lynch 2 recently for 60. This game wouldn't have been out of place on a ps2. The graphics are shoddy for 360, the story is dull and the gameplay is laughably basic and uninspired.

hell gate wasn't BAD it just wasn't what it should have been. I'm just hoping hell gate : resurrection lives up to what I wanted from the first game
Wait.. Hellgate Resurrection? Their is another one!? I forgot about the original game after never hearing about it and then was dis hearted to hear it sucked. I still don't know much about it. Is it another MMO? I really hope they get it right, that one CG trailer was SO BADASS.
another studio is picking it up and fixing all the things flagship got wrong as well as adding a metric fuck-tonne of stuff, it looks really cool from what I've read.

You have a lot of money to burn to buy so many games at full price and hate them all.

Yea, Legendary for PS3. I don't know what I was thinking, I just grabbed it off the shelf along with two other games I actually wanted. It was such crap (I just went to the official website right now and even that crashed on me).
was that the game where you fought things like minotaur's and griffins and other weird creatures?
Yea, and you start off in a museum, but I didn't like it much.

As much as it saddens me to say, the ever forgettable Prototype. A bland atmosphere, horrible draw distance (red fog, really?) and very underwhelming story (go here blow this up, go there, blow that up) all add up to a pretty bad game to pay preorder money on. but it would have been the best bargain bin purchase since Timesplitters future perfect.

Easily the Lord of the Rings: The Third Age. It looked good... but it was only when I started playing that I realised my mistake.

Playing Dead Space on hard mode while going for the "use only the plasma cutter" achievement makes it a much better survival horror game. It doesn't actually make you die much more often, it just adds a layer of tension, since ammo is scarce, and you only get the main weapon.
Except it's only that way if you play in a very specific fashion on the hardest difficulty. If I buy a game that claims to be a survival horror, I want it to be a survival horror. Not an action game that plays like a survival horror if the moon is full and I sacrifice a chicken while dancing naked on the top of the hill built on the indian burial ground. Sadly the Survival Horror genre is pretty much dead now, what few series had their life in the genre are now being forcibly and poorly converted into action games while any new game that tries to claim the name of Survival Horror is usually just an action game without regenerating health or constant health drops.
I wasn't trying to redeem it, just making suggestions to you so that you could get your money's worth.

H.A.W.X. 2 it wasn't even one of those games that you can go hmm it was ok but not quite worth the price I paid for it, it was complete and utter shit.

FF13 was ok but really really fucking boring I played it for about 20 hours hoping it would suddenly become good before I just gave up on it.

Dead Rising 2 was a slight disappointment wish I got it pre owned the loading times were too long and too frequent and some of the boss fights were either underwhelming or cheap

yeah, it was alright, I just didn't like the multiplayer, because no one played it... the story wasn't amazing, but just enough for me not to sell it back right away (although I have sold it now)
