I played Metal Gear Solid 2 before MGS1. I was really confused. I still haven't played MGS1, but at this point I don't think it will help.

I played System Shock 2 before System Shock and I played the Jagged Alliance series in reverse order, I played JA2, then its expansions, then Deadly Games, then Jagged Alliance.
