I am going to predict the future as if you look at history it's pretty obvious what's going to happen. PLUS as a special bonus will be predicting the future WHILE simultaneously offending everyone who reads this for reasons I can't understand myself since nothing I'm about to say is offensive but people get offended by it anyway, I know it's going to happen anyway so feel free to insult me after you've read as far down as your education level allows.
BTW. That wasn't the future prediction that I was talking about.
In the future. Words like LOL will be verbally spoken and be in every dictionary and as much as many people today hate this and discourage the youngsters, it will still happen.
I know this because OMG is already in the dictionary and has become an acceptable word in the English vocabulary. Another sad but true fact, back in the 30s teachers discouraged kids from using ( ' ) in words. Words like wouldn't were frowned upon. Also teachers felt handwriting lessons were ABSOLUTLY imperative and works with poor handwriting were immediately failed without considering. (Not just in schools but in business as well)
In the future. Facebook will have been forgotten for the next thing and people will be made fun of for still being on Facebook like how they are made fun of for still being on My Space which was what EVERYONE HAD TO HAVE not too long ago.
In the future, video game stores like "GameStop" and "EB Games" will not exist. They will be replaced by the internet much like how Blockbuster and any book store is now and they will vanish from existence much like Radio Shack. If this does not happen with the next generation of game consoles, it will for certain happen with the generation after that as it has already begun and not just because of Downloading games of PSN or whatever.
No, the newest PSP doesn't even take UMDs like the previous PSP does and I'm sure the next gen PSP that's coming out early next year wont either. That means that you will not be able to purchase ANY of the new PSP system's game in any store, EVER. Not in Gamestop, not in Wal-Mart. Not anywhere except on the PSN online or whatever. You will be able to buy credits at a Gamestop to redeem and purchase your games, or likely buy cards to redeem which will be as good as buying the game itself but that's it. You won?t see any of the actual games in the store.
This is just the tip of the iceberg however, and this iceberg and it is not going to be friendly to the common every man either. More and more the localized economy shall be blurred into obscurity and big industry will treat us like cattle, much more than we are now as more human ran business are replaced by a heartless internet that shall disregard anyone in the lower middle class or below who cannot afford monthly internet payments.
(BTW, to everyone who?s read this far, I propose you add " Well now? " to your response, just as a fun way to tell apart the flaming crybabies who skimmed apart from the people who have note worthy opinions ^_^ Don?t worry. I have no problem having egg on my face in the event that this becomes a buried thread that no one posts. ) That's what I foresee, and you may think this sounds alarmist but it really isn't. It?s no more alarmist than what teachers in the 30s who predicted our modern day society. It shall happen slowly and simply become another accepted norm by everyone and very few of us will notice it happen until we stop 1 day and ponder fondly of the times that have passed.
But fear not for it will not last long. Nope, it will only last for a few decades when their world changes into a distant future far too blurred to foresee today, or at most a century or 2 when finally giant jellyfish destroy the aquatic ecosystem to the point where the fishing industry collapses and creates a larger demand on meat and crops that surpasses supply and will create massive starvation for over 80% of the global population. (^_^ That is alarmist btw. F*** global warming, as if our current population and resource demands could possible sustain itself long enough to see anything like that.)
So there ya go. That's it, feel free to respond however you wish. I foresee most of you quoting and tearing down specific lines I wrote until you feel better about yourself while the rest of you make silly prediction responses.
