Well now, when people say "OMG", I scream "Oh my God it's the same syllables and saves you no extra time to say!" and punch them in the torso moderately hard. If they're a girl I give them the middle finger.
Yeah language changes, but abbreviation to language are just that, you just don't fucking speak them. Abbreviate names, sure, like IP is much easier than Internet Protocol. But OMG or LOL in common spoke language represents lesser intelligence - just how many people with decent jobs / education actually say these? Answer: None.
Facebook becoming outdated is obvious, but unless it can show itself as the most secure form of social networking; and can prove it can maintain that statement, I will not be signing up.
Physical purchases of media will still exist, just on a much, much smaller scale. The only place I know now that still sells music by disc is HMV. They're still doing well but it has no competitors except the online market, which isn't really direct competition.
Here's one for you, for free: Sure, 3DTVs are on sale now and there are now 3DTV channels/cinema, but it will flop soon. Japan invested $4bil. into holoTV (or as I like to called it, true 3DTV; not that illusion 3D shit on sale today), which is holographic projection very much like in Star Trek, Mass Effect, Halo etc.
HoloTV is in it's prototype stage, so we will be seeing it on the market in 4-5 years time.
