I can't stand people who walk slower than me. Well, one person is fine, but a group of people, in a hallway, who won't let you pass, now that is annoying.

People who block doorways.

People who don't respect the concept of personal space. I really don't like being touched, so I feel really uncomfortable when someone, especially a stranger, squishes up close to me.

People who don't know how to queue properly.

These are just little things that get under my skin a bit.

Of all the things in this thread that I likely agree with, I tend to lump it all down into one simple over-arching cause which can be expressed in a single word: Stupidity.

And to that effect, I can't stand people when they are blitheringly stupid. It's like fornicating on my favorite meal and no, that doesn't mean you can eat it now, idiot.

Racists.

Homophobes.

Christians.
I love how the first two are obviously hated for being ignorant and pig-headed...much like you are acting for stating Christians as being people you can't stand.

OT: I can't stand people who try to change who I am; be it family, work, friends girlfriends etc.
I see no ignorance.

I know what Christians stand for.

I dislike it.

Ta-da.
Unfortunately by that, you have just fed me proof of your ignorance.

Just because you dislike the religion doesn't mean that you should hate all followers of that religion. I dislike much of Christian teaching but I still have friends who follow it... I dislike certain types of music but I don't forsake all who listen to them. etc etc.
Christians worship and thank a god that has wrought terrible, terrible suffering upon this world.

Anyone that sings the praise of a god capable of creating rape, death, famine, drug abuse and natural disasters that displace and orphan millions upon millions is no person I wish to know.
Wow...Ok, I can see that you're stuck in that little bubble of your's, but I sincerely hope that one day you pop yourself out of it because unconditionally hating a group of people that find comfort in something YOU don't believe/like is inane.

Yes, Christianity has caused millions of problems/suffering/mindless slaughter and always will but hating ALL Christians??? What if one of your best-loved family members suddenly became a Christian, or your partner did? Would you instantly hate them despite the fact that their personality probably wouldn't change besides the fact that they'd go to Church on a Sunday (although not a lot of Christians even do that.)

It just baffles me that you can have such a negative view of this.

*shrugs* nevermind, I leave you to your own devices and I actually have to thank you for a good argument/discussion/disagreement or whatever you want to call it. Twas good.

Pretty much this. Man those people are asshats.

Why on Earth would I want anything to do with people who "Find comfort" in such a monstrous, evil cult of death? These people thank the very thing that made pain and sadness. Any horror you can fathom, their god, the one they praise, is to blame for its creation. Devoting your life to that - now that sounds insane to me.

Considering what my partner has been through, there is zero chance of her getting on her knees and thanking a god.
I'm confuzzled. Why single out Christianity specifically when every religion amounts to the same basic concepts?

No other religion has caused so much death and suffering.
So you'd rather generalise based on the sins of the past when people were less educated and much stupider than they are now, rather than make a proper argument as to why you single out Christianity? You do realise that every single argument you've made in this thread as to why Christianity is bad can be applied to most of the major religions, right?

Yes. Most religion is bad. Like I said, however, hun - "No other religion has caused so much death and suffering."
"Hun"? Really? You are aware how condescending that sounds, right?

Also, are you aware that the latest figures have Christianity at around 30% of the entire world's population? Let alone Australia which has around 63% of the population listed as believers in one of the many forms of Christianity?

So that means you hate, on average, 2/3 of the people you know. All because they happen to believe in something you find distasteful. Never mind that religion has done good as well as evil for the world, and never mind the fact that the vast majority of religious people aren't of the fucking stupid variety that run around calling for the deaths of others. It's actually pretty ironic that you're so intolerant of Christians when one of the greatest evils of religion has been intolerance and the damage it causes.

I have a friend who does this all the time -.-' Its now an 'in' joke to my group of friends.. Having said that, I cant stand:

- 'In' jokes..
- People asking questions about whats happening in a movie instead of just.. oh i dunno.. WATCHING IT TO FIND OUT..
- Anyone that voted for the BNP in the last UK election
- Mothers with prams who stop suddenly infront of you, almost tripping you over. i swear they do it on purpose
- The Trek/Wars divide..
- People who think drinking themselves to the hospital is a cool story to tell and re-tell..
- People who tell stories about when they were drunk
- Drunk people..

I don't really hate anyone, but I "dislike" people who can't have their own opinions.

Example:
Guy: Damn, Dragonforce rocks!
Me: Nah, not really.
Guy: They have some good songs, right?
Me: No, can't say they do imo.
Guy: Well, this one song, it's really good!
Me: Nope, they're not that great dude.
Guy: Yeah I mean I agree man, Dragonforce sucks!
