I can't stand people who think that everyone who was ever given a gun by the government is somehow a hero and immune to any sort of personal flaw.

I can't stand people who think the only thing you have to do to be a bad person in this world is say you don't believe in God/Allah/Buddah/Vishnu. That somehow, no matter how hard you work or look after you're family, not believing in God is tantamount to purest evil.

And I can't stand anyone who claims that they saved my countries ass in WWII, despite being born AFTER WWII

I know that this is just a hate thread, but i try my best to get on with all types of people. I understand that it is not particularly interesting to not having a hate list. I will also truthfully stand and say that even though i try, i do not succeed at this every time.

What i will say however, is that regardless of how annoying we perceive people are, we would be the absolute fool to think that we are somehow any better than them. Every person has annoying habits, no one is exempt from that rule.

So in my opinion i would rather spend my life not dealing with every annoying habit that a person has, than wasting my life complaining about every single annoying habit. After all, i am the only person in the end, who who can make my life worth living. We are all responsible for how we behave. No external influence can affect us without our prior consent.

Very true, I don't think I'm bothered by most of the things that others seem to be. Or, at least I try not to be.

And that should tell you what I hate the most. People who talk during a play or a film get on my nerves so much. It's the reason I tend to only ever go to the late night showings of films, when there's barely anyone in the cinema, and thus less chance of people talking (not to mention a much better atmosphere allowing me to get much more absorbed in the film...).

How could the religion of Christianity and homophobia not be the same thing (one way around)? Have you seen the Book of Romans, to say nothing of the Old Testament insofar as it is still canonic? It's hardly acceptance of sexual diversity that flow from a linguistically correct interpretation of those authoritative scriptures on what "Christianity" is (and given that it's a book with norms written down in the dated cultural environment of the ancient Middle East, I'm not really surprised)

Of course some moderate "Christians" exist, and by a sociological use of the term might count as such. In the religious sense, however, they are hardly Christian; moderates in an absolutist system of shared dogma on beliefs is of course conceptually impossible.

Aside from that, religion always was especially easy to misuse to do (even greater) harm, due to it's ancient and absolutist wordings; a problem in and of itself with it. If you open a chain saw shop in the middle of a desert drug war, then the specified purpose might well be to sell chain saws for gardening. When it turns out that your chain saws are predominantly used to cut people up, then the ethical things might well be to close up shop even if it's not your fault how customers use your products, ne?.

If you're not familiar with what I mean, I'm talking about people that smack gum, eat chips in public places, pick their nails, and the like. I guess it's less of a personality type than it is an irritating action, but still, I deeply resent people for doing it.

As far as actual types of people, I'd have to say people who are willfully ignorant. I'm okay with stupid people, superstitious people, insufferable smart people, religious people*, and so on, but I feel nothing but contempt towards people that deny facts for the sake of their comfort.
