Apparently when I responded to someone's message on Facebook, an Ashley Ortiz, I got my email hacked T.T

All I did was reply, "Hi..... do I know you?"

But now I keep getting sent messages from random colleges saying: "We're very impressed with you, Ashley"

Any ideas to help? T.T

Change your passwords and security questions, and run a spyware check on your computer.

What anti-virus do you use? If it's a well known one that will be why. Stuff like Norton, Mcafee and even AVG are just being targeted nowadays.

I use a mix of spybot S&D, AVG and this other one all at the same time. Works wonders.

Just do a search, change your passwords and if this still doesn't work, put your computer into safe mode then scan it.

You should definitely jump all over that shit.

Has a college (much less your parents) ever said they're impressed with you? You should take advantage of this mistaken identity to live the life full of positive encouragement you've always wanted to.

Yeah, I guess when you respond you instantly give your email address to them (via the notifications and stuff)...

But yes, scan your PC and ignore the emails. On my old account I used to get 50 a day at least. Was fun ^.^
