I think alcohol is not as bad as people think.

I can understand that people drink if they think the drink in question tastes good. Otherwise I'm often just completely against it. Most people I know just drink to get wasted or because it's "cool". Why is it that "parties" means "alcohol"? And this is just a personal gripe: I just want to have a clear head at all times.

Though it all just comes down to the fact that chocolate milk is the superior drink.

Alcoholism is a bad, bad thing.

However a couple of drinks on a night out every once in a while does no harm and really helps you relax and chill out, and improves your dancing skills immensely

It's even worse actually...because my liver doesn't filter the alcohol properly so got horribly ill the first and only time I drank. So unless I feel like having a swift alcohol-related demise, I cannot drink. My liver won't allow it. Oh, well. I was never really interested in the idea anyway.

I'm glad you said moderation and I'd agree with that.

However in my experiences people rarely do moderation and end up shit faced. I've seen both my brothers stagger home, pass out on a couch, and vomit all over themselves multiple times. A friend(very drunk) tried to force to me drink with him, even though I don't drink, and then later tried to get me to join the Army through him. Another friend has drunk dialed me several times(that's just annoying). My mom had DUIs, lit a bush on fire, and did jail time(these were many years ago). And most people I've meet who are drink are drunk and annoying as shit.

I will say there have been some very responsible drinkers and some that have been very cool and relaxed(I just wish I knew more of them).

Watching and talking to drunks is fun. Doing the same to stoners isn't.

i disagree. when im sober, i find drunk people to be obnoxious. dont get me wrong, talking to stoners when you arent high isnt much fun either, but at least they dont usually make as much noise

You haven't meet my brothers and their friends. They get themselves so worked up with whatever they are talking about they end up practically yelling at each other(frequently late at night).
