I think Bethseda are screwing with us now. Possible Skyrim spoilers.

For those of you who don't want to see any new info about Skyrim until the game comes out I will put all the info in the spoiler below. Read at your own risk.

So it turns out that when Bethseda said that Werewolf transformation was unlikely to be in the game it seems they where only telling a half truth. While the first pic tells us that Werewolfs still have a chance of being in the game it's the second that is the most important. It seems tell us that we may get the chance to be the Werewolf. Of course there is also the possibility that these images are either 1) Altered pics, although if they are then bravo to the person who made them or 2)These pics are from a future piece of DLC.

So what are your thoughts? Real of fake?

Yeah, you could be a werewolf in Morrowind. This isn't new to the series. It would be awesome to be able to do it again, as inconvenient as it actually was being a werewolf.

Well, Bethesda have outright lied about Skyrim before. I remember early in 2010 they said that there were no plans for a new Elder Scrolls game, but Skyrim's been in development since before Oblivion's launch.

It's probably like this. They have Werewolves in the game but you can't become one. So when they bring out any add-ons they have the foundation for Werewolfs and turning into one.

Don't your own screenshots disprove that though? It's looking like you CAN be one.

Look at the "Ring of Hircine" thing. It's listed under "Active Effects", which means the character in the screenshots currently has the ability to transform into a werewolf.

We still have to assume that its from the original Skyrim and not from any add-on. But your right, the second imagine does in a way disprove that theory.

So what are the werewolf rules; do you only transform in the light of a full moon (implying some kind of lunar cycle added to the game) or can you pretty much go all furry any time you want?

Can Khajiit become werewolves? If so, a man-sized tiger werewolf fighting a dragon may be the most awesome thing immortalized by mankind.
