Today, when I was playing with me phone, I held it up to my ear, and I heard some frequency. I don't know if it's with any phone, or I have super ears.

If it helps, it's a Samsung Flight.

Were you standing next to an appliance of some kind?

Sometimes a phone can pick up electrical interference.

It may have also been picking up on another phone conversation.

Nobody was talking on a phone, But there's the computer.

When I tried it away from the computer, it was still there.

Well the human ear can hear frequencies from 20 to 20,000 hertz. If you haven't heard 20k hertz before then you are indeed in for a surprise. I have heard that frequency and it physically hurts.

Better question! Why do you care? Seriously, if you have an acute sense of hearing, then you have an acute sense of hearing. It's still crap compared to other animals (In fact, Human beings have some of the worst senses in the animal kingdom. Seriously, it's a miracle we didn't go extinct.)

Chances are, it was the phone. If it wasn't, then I don't know. Maybe you just have a keen sense of hearing. But in the end, it doesn't really matter.

It could be the phone. I've had similar things happen to me. Like when you first turn some old TVs on they have a high pitched whine. It happens from time to time.

I have once heard 27Ghz before...
No you didn't. Nothing has that frequency.

It is our brainpower and social prowess that made us survive. We don't need those extreme senses when we can build things, make weapons, and stay in packs.

I couldn't remember, it was a test and I said 27 to get my point across. I have sensitive ears.

Why are you asking the Escapist forums?
I think you're barking up the wrong tree.
*claps for pun*. I can hear CRT screens operating. I also am about to go out and work from 4:30 pm to 1am for the third day in a row. And I've been awake since 7am. I should probably get off the internet now.
