After playing Metro Last Light I've started using "suka" as an expletive like Pavel.
Similarly, depending if I've played a Dragon age or Elder scrolls game more recently I'll sometimes say "Maker" or "By the Nine".
Also, not a game, but I was once in a play where one of my lines was responding to someone asking how I was with "Not too bad". Ever since, I always unconsciously say "Not too bad" whenever someone asks me how I am.

Books on the other hand? Oh yeah, you can tell when I'm reading a certain series, because I'll start using phrases from it, even if they're in a fictional language.
Oh man, that happens to me all the time, especially with this one book series from Warhammer 40k called Gaunt's Ghosts. The reason why it's so good is that it's not about the giant fuck-off space marines or magic space elves, but rather a bunch of normal people trying to survive all of the crazy shit going on. It's about the goddamn Imperial Guard!

Anyway, all of the people in the book use "feth" as a swear, which is a world used by the people of Tanith blah blah blah backstory.

For AGES after reading the book, I'd be playing/watching/doing something and when everyone would go "Ah shit" "Damnit" or "Fuck!" I would just randomly shout out "FETH!".

Gained me a few weird looks.

Playing Shin Megami Tensei IV made me go "Hoy" when asking for someone.
This is something I've always found interesting in japanese games and anime. Whenever someone says that it reminds me a lot of someone saying "Oi" like we do in Ireland, now whenever I say "Oi" to someone in my head I see myself saying "Hey" to them in Japanese....

Stupid as it is, after watching FMA I would compulsively clap my hands before doing something creative for a while. I'm a geek |D

Game wise, I don't really think so. I might have had some more noticeable foul language but I think the thing that got me cursing more was SSBB over losing every fight rather than the game itself.

Honestly, this is something that happens in lots of stuff, not just games. I find that after watching anime for a while (With subs) that my mental voice starts taking on characteristics of Japanese speaking people.

The only affect the GTA games have ever had on me is mu usage of 'nigga'. And only when not seriously talking with someone. I laughed so hard in the last story conversation between Franklin and Lamar. "Nigga, you my nigga for life, nigga."

The first time I met Trevor, and about two times afterwords playing as him, when I turned off the game I felt jacked. I felt really aggressive on my nightly walks. I guess I find his insanity and total "I don't give a fuck" attitude refreshing.

This happens more to me with TV shows than anything else but when playing a game I will tend to scream at it using the words they use in said game. So I'll scream "fuck you" at the TV while playing GTA V more than when playing Borderlands. Never really bleeds out into real life though...unless it's Doctor Who.

If I play through Manhunt 1 or 2 again, when I walk through a shadow or the shade I look for a second to see if my visibility is darkened. When my wife and I were binging Fallout 3, I was going through stuff in my attic and found a crutch, and for a minute I started saying "Babe! we can totally build that gun once we get to a -"! Yeah, I felt kinda silly after that one.

After I played Chrono Trigger back when I was 8 or so, I would look at a map and imagine what it would look like 12,000 years ago, millions of years ago, or somewhat into the future. I was fascinated by the years altering the world, and seeing the slight similarities that remained.

It has happened a few times slightly, but the most notable is when either my brother or myself get injured we sometimes just start yelling "Medic! Meeeediiiic! Doctoooorrrr!" At eachother like in team fortress, caused a few looks X)

Also whenever I find a place with a LOT of tools, gardening stuff or maybe actual weapons I'll think to myself "This is the best place to be if zombies start pouring in..." I live in the UK so actual guns and stuff are kinda hard to come by :p I think this one *might be* more common to others?

I was reminded of this today, but I first heard the word "prick" being used in GTA Vice City at around the age of 11.

I then yelled it across the room at my younger brother, age 7.

Got in trouble for that one.

If I have been mildly influenced by a game, I didn't notice it. The most I can think of is that my occasional slipping into a British accent is due to hearing it in some games, but it also might be due to TV and BBC News (more likely) or the fact I had to fake one for a play.

I remember both Thief and Torment made me start thinking in their brands of slang for a while.
