in 2010 they should fire all game developers who have delivered bad games at least 3 times and who have been in employment for atleast 20 years.then hire new designers who know what is good or not.and any sequel of a game that ended 5-8 years ago shall be fired imediatly and not allowed near the gameing industry for 5 years!

I'm going to forward this idea to some people who know people.

We'll get those losers out of work ASAP.

Aaaaaaaaand terrible idea. A good or bad game is based on opinions, not facts, so basically, every game developer ever will be fired.

no. just because you know what's bad or good does not stop you making a bad or good game. it just helps. also, there are people who make exccelent games, but if they make 3 or more bad games, they instantly get kicked out? that's a little harsh.

That is one of the stupidest ideas I've ever heard. What qualifies as a good or bad game is largely open to opinion, and besides every developer is entitled to have an off day or 2.
But what I think should happen is publisher bureaucrats should no longer have any say in the development process of games.

They would even have to fire Sid Meier then, wouldn't they?

Good bands can do bad albums, good actors can be in bad films, good directors can make bad movies... if you ask me, they MUST do something bad after a while, and they usually do.

Kiss haven't had a good song in, what, 30 years? I still enjoy them for what they once did tho. And same goes for other stuff, games included. I mean, common, Ancel did Beyond Good & Evil, and I forgive him for those %¤/%¤ing Raving Rabbids.

Who is one to judge what's a bad game? Some people like these "bad games." If you don't like a game there's nothing forcing you to buy it...

Uhh, just get rid of Peter Molyneux, and make sure movie directors stay the hell away from games and I'll be happy.
