No idea what The Goliath is
It's Canada's tallest, largest, longest roller coaster. Or at least it was until Canada's Wonderland in Toronto made a rip-off that's slightly taller, larger and longer. Leave it to Toronto to take an idea from Montreal and try to steal the thunder.

VR is going to be a huge hit in the next couple of years. You think it's going too far now just wait till you see what else they can use it for. Just look how much it has grown in this short amount of time.
I'm aware of that, but to paraphrase two movies I quite enjoyed: people asked if they could instead of if they should, and it's a roller coaster, it's 'wow' enough.

...For you apparently. There's this wacky new thing called "Everyone else" though, and some of us are interested. Since our VR experience in no way harms you, I'm curious how the title of this thread isn't, "A little too far FOR MY PERSONAL TASTE."

First of all, it's not a videogame. It's a film with interactive camera (Gone to the Rapture has more interactivity than this), which along with the sudden jerking moves from the Golliat makes it feel more real. Second, simulated rides with CGI movies running at high frame-rate have existed for decades (not in a roller-coaster though, but in closed rooms with mechanical seats that move in sync with what happens on screen). And third... why the heck not!? Let them try new things (and if it fails, it fails). Besides, some people just can't get enough exhilaration from the rides.

As mentioned, just because the OP isn't interested doesn't mean there must be a problem.

Not, it might be a gimmick that soon disappears, but that's a failed business experiment at worst, not "going too far".
