The leveling system sounds like the dumbest idea since the dvd rewinder, so I will say that I am immune to the hype this time, which is good, because I wont be tempted to buy a 360 this time.

I can't be sucked in, since this only comes out for the 360, apparently... Oh well, looks like I'm stuck with "just" Fable: The Lost Chapters for good.

Im always sucked in, but once i get a fable game i tell myself to just enjoy it for what it is, and by those standards they're darn good games.

If there's one thing I learned from the last two games, it can be summed up in one word: Rent. These are games I can quite literally beat in about two days and really lost their luster with me there after. No need to waste $60 on a game I will more than likely play once.

Yeah, I got one of those sometime after the first Fable came out. Thank god for that.

But seriously, I refuse to believe a word that comes out of his mouth anymore, he's like some sort of attention-seeking overexcited goblin. It's been ages since he's even made a really good game!

The hype that Fable 3 is starting to get is just making me lose any small faith I had in video game fans, then again people have different tastes yaddah yaddah, but for me, I like a challenge and a variety to how the game can be played, Fable 1 had both, Fable 2 had neither, Fable 3 looks like it will be following Fable 2.
I was really really hoping it would be going back to the roots of Fable 1, which was actually GOOD, but the second the developers mentioned something along the lines of "starting with the Fable 2 code and adding new fun features in" it just really killed any vague hope I had for Fable 3.

Peter Molyneaux is a passionate fool who let's speaks before he thinks, sure he may have great ideas, but he promises things before working out if they are doable within the timeframe the development team have, which is his biggest downfall.

If you are sucked in by his empty sweet talk about how great the game will be and all the hype surrounding it, take a look at how much he promised would be in Fable 1 and 2, and how much of that was true, that outta sober you up.

Noooo don't walk towards the light!

It's just going to an average game like both of the others were. Just keep telling yourself that, and you may actually be able to enjoy the game this time around.

I've actually never played a Fable game, and I don't have a 360, so no, not really. The idea of no on-screen hub seems interesting, though.

I didn't play the first two for various reasons, but I might keep an eye on it. If nothing else, it will be entertaining to see how much/little the series has improved.

Say what you will about Peter, but I really enjoyed Fable II. I'm not looking forward to Fable III, as much as, say, Final Fantasy XIII, Mass Effect 3, or Halo: Reach, but I expect it to be pretty good.

I didn't really like Fable 2, so I'm not allowing myself to get sucked into another Molyneaux promise stew of disappointment.

You sprout wings out of your back.
I am no longer hyped.

Probably still get it, though.
