I wanna build a Computer

But I have literally no idea where to start. I want to spend somewhere between 500 and 900 bucks on this (monitor not included) and I'll spread out the buying of said parts over the months as I can afford it. I want to use it almost exclusively to game on.

I would recommend this build, except I would wait for ivy bridge (new generation of cpus from intel)

Even if you do not want to buy ivy bridge it will make Sandy bridge (i5 2500k) cheaper once its released.

And I would try to wait a bit with buying hdds since they are crazy expensive atm due to floodings earlier this year

I went there before, but I gave up..I asked one of my friend to help me. Op you must have one friend who know a little more in this field. It's hard to explain for you here.

Thanks for your quick and helpful responses guys . Not to worry, my mother who has worked with computers for the past 10 years or so is going to help me build it.
