I wanna get Demon's Soul, but not sure if it's the good kind of difficulty, or just WHOOPS YOU COULDN'T POSSIBLY HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THAT INSTANT DEATH MOVE OR ENEMY HIDING AROUND THAT CORNER.
Even in games with really close checkpoints that pisses me off to no end.

Probably more so in those games, since the cheap deaths become even more pointless.

There are a few games that I'd like to pick up eventually but don't really want to spend that much money on. Call of Duty 4 (even though I've beaten it a million times at friend's places, I just love the campaign), World at War, and Bioshock 2 are on that list.

Hey free games ARE available..It just seems a lot of people dont know it. All you have to do is apply for all the free games that are around. Most come with a console. Not all the games that are out can be got free but some can - I know 2 sources for anyone who is interested.

I want Demon's Souls, but I fear it may be too punishing (inb4pussygamer, the only reason I say it's too hard is because I don't like cheap deaths). So I don't want to import a copy of the game for 50 squids, only to hate the game senseless.

About Demon's Souls, it depends what you consider cheap. For instance, you often die by falling off a cliff because you weren't paying enough attention, or you were blindly sprinting. Or you die in combat because you failed to get your block up or made a mistake in being over agressive and had no stam to counter. Or you go against an enemy (red eye knights ><) that are above your level and capacity. There's really only one enemy I can think of that's totally brutal and that's the giant goblin things in the Swamp of Sorrows, however, you technically only need to kill 2 out of a possible 6 (8 if you unlock the Pure White World Tendancy secret area). Well, the dogs are a pain in the first level (see Yahtzee's review lol) but you don't need to take the tunnels, in which case it's just a matter of timing a run to not get burned. The traps in the game are fairly innocent, actually, I can't even think of one off the top of my head that would kill you (aside from the dragon I suppose but that's not exactly a trap).

I want to play them all, but feel like they will be on clearance at Target soon (for those that don't know about Target, they are a standard discount department store) They tend to move games in and out quickly. Once target decides a game is no longer selling well, they cut the price in half and blow the remaining stock out. Sucks to buy a game for $60 then see it for $30 the week after.

To be fair, keep in mind how old Startcraft is. A lot of movies and games lifted the races out of Starcraft..

And really, in the sci-future, thare are really only like 6 archtypes. Humans, Hive minds, Super advanced alien races, alien races that are human with only very minor cosmetic differances, aliens that are bent on total war all the time, and cat people.
