No. Capitalism and Socialism are economic methods, not ideologies. You can have a communist democracy (Spanish anarchist militias, anarcho-communists, most attempts at communism end in dictatorship though, so you have a point) , or a capitalist dictatorship/oligarchy (China)

Do you want to hear something wonderful, something enlightening?

No one fucking cares what you think.

You don't matter.

Neither do I.
Well, other people have been sharing their opinions, so I thought I would. It is a forum, after all.

Refer to statement 1.
Which statement is that? I've lost track.

Assuming it's the same thing, refer to what I've been stressing: "My religion is the primary reason for why I believe what I believe; therefore, I felt it necessary to mention it."
fluffybacon said:
No, you stated that it wasn't your moral code, it was god's. In order for god to have a moral code, he must exist. By telling us that the existence of god was a fact and then telling us that god doesn't have to exist in our realities, you have just told us that we do not have to believe in god, but we do have to believe in his "moral code" and therefore believe in him.

And, no, I do not understand where you are coming from.

I do believe in god. I am god.
I said, "If you don't believe in God, so be it."

By saying that specific thing, I meant that you don't need to believe in God in order to understand why I believe what I believe. I never said that you didn't need to believe in God in order to follow His moral code.

Which lends an interesting clarity to the world, incidentally.
If you would all just stop feeling so damn much, I can guarantee that 90% of all violence would just vanish.
What causes you to believe that?
What causes you to believe what you do?

.
.

We think too much and we feel too little.

We feel too much and we think too little.

Both are trajically true.
How can both be true?

Are you saying that at times, one is true, and at other times, the other is true?

I live in Sweden, here they could take me against my will if they want me, and there is nothing I could do to make them take me if they don't.
That sucks donkey balls. Rebel? Viva la revolucion?
I would, but it's just not the same rebeling against a democratic government. :/

Canada doesn't fight in any wars, so I guess you don't have to worry about that :p...

If they help pay for college like ( i think) the American military does than it may be a good way to get a good, free college education so you can be a winner in life!
sir where are you?
Canada has (I believe is) in Afghanistan and I wont go on for the other wars I hope your making a lame joke and I'm overreacting because that statement is completely incorrect

on topic and in a good act of self restrain I shall not make any call of duty jokes and instead say this.
1 Keep your god dammed head down
2 If you are scared and don't know what to do, RUN! (unless there's you know, heavy machine guns firing at you then refer to point 1)
3 try to be above the average grunt (I just believe you'll benifit more if you have leadership training
4 don't succumb to anything you know is wrong even if your a post traumatic stress disorder run wreck and your pals are doing it, don't dude
5 keep your wits about you, don't shoot civilians, and learn their language, it will help

Isn't Canada a capitalist nation? I know its more left than America, but so is just about everyone these days.

If its a socialist nation and I'm just ignorant about it, then go ahead and join.

If its a capitalist nation, I don't see why a good commie like yourself would join.
Canada is capitalist, but in the event of invasion I want to protect the people I care about.
......doesn't capitalist mean that their is democracy? and so ......if he is a commie, then america is commie, and america is communist, then every social studies lesson i learned about the cold was is shit.
You're right, it was shit. The government uses social studies and history to feed you propaganda. I thought that was a known fact by now?

Was it democratically decided by the Swedish people that conscription be implemented?

I didn't say that you weren't entitled to share your opinion, I said that your opinon doesn't matter.
Do you honestly think I care what other people think?

Personally, I think that my opinion does matter. I also think that I matter. I think that we all matter.

It's probably the first statement I made in the post. If you lost track after one thing then I feel very sorry for you.
I was trying to make sure I knew what you were referring to - no need to feel sorry.

I said, "I didn't decide it was wrong; God did."

By saying that, I was trying to convey that God is the reason for what I believe.

I also said, "If you don't believe in God, so be it."

When stating that, I was saying that you don't need to believe in God in order to know why I believe what I believe.

An unfathomable concept.
So, what are you trying to say?

I want to take sniper training (and no I'm not a 12 year old CoD player, I was into snipers since I was 5) just in case my country needs me and I'm the only one qualified for the job or something. You should too, its ideal, no interaction with people, just you the scope and the gun.

Its a lot harder than that but still its better than being the minuteman.

Edit: Please stop quoting me telling me more about snipers I'm not going to write the encyclopedia entry for sniper here its just a metaphor and what I like about it, I know what I'm talking about. Again, not a Cod 12 year old.
If i was to join the army, i'd be a spotter or a field medic.

I wanted to go into the Army but decided not to. Death is a scary thought and right now our men are being killed each day and its evil. Im too young to die just yet. Besides, i have my family to think about (and pets).
