I know a friend who joined the cadets, and technically, he outranks a lot of the people who are fighting in Afghanistan.

Cadets are NOT a fucking child militia. We hold NO rank in the Canadian Forces, are NOT eligible to fight in the Canadian Forces (until we join a unit at 16+ or age out, you cannot be a Cadet and a serving CF member), and we are NOTHING compared to the men and women that put THEIR lives on the line to protect morons like you.

Canada doesn't fight in any wars, so I guess you don't have to worry about that ...

If they help pay for college like ( i think) the American military does than it may be a good way to get a good, free college education so you can be a winner in life!

I'd agree with this, if you can't afford to get a degree, then its a smart choice to join the army and get all the training you want from them, which should enable you to get any future career you wish. Just remember not to die.

I'm thinking of joining the army too or the reserves at the very least. I'd recommend specializing in something like a mechanic or a medic having military training on your resume is a great way to get a job if you don't make the army a career for the rest of your life.

To a certain degree, I consider this to be true in regard to Canada's educational system (pertaining to the American system, I'll take your word for it). Nonetheless, I still think that the educational system is invaluable.

I'm curious... what do you think should be done in order to better the American educational system?

I am against labeling someone "inferior" simply because they belong to a certain racial group.
All labeling should be done based on intelligence.

Personally, I don't think we should ever consider anyone to be inferior.

Emphasis should be placed on learning to think, teachers should be watched in order to ensure they're not letting their bias influence their teaching, information should be unrestricted (especially history, because they sure do enjoy skipping over parts that make our country/countries we're bestest buddies with look bad.)

Sounds pretty good.

I think the educational system needs quite the rehash.
