2. if yes then how, i have no idea how to even begin trying out for a movie being filmed in new zealand and i cant just call up peter jackson. and help would be greatly appreciated!

well the thing is he's going to be involved as an actor in parts other than gollum as well, possibly even one of the main dwarfs, so i figured maybe theyd slide me in if i was good enough to make his work a bit easier lol

A lot of people are capable of doing his voice. It's not actually that hard. The real challenge is the fact that the Actor who plays (And yes, there is an actor.) him is capable of not only doing the role, but doing the motions as well. I don't see you beating a man who has already been established in the role.

Besides, if they started production on it, I'm pretty sure they would have gotten the roles filled as soon as possible.
