This thread I've made is for my 10K post, I've really enjoyed it here and hope to stay for a long time. You can ignore this if you wish to.
OT:
Yes we've all had our experiences in which we kept failing at something constantly, but still continued to try and beat it. Well let us all share some instances as to when that old say "perseverance is the key" and while we are at it, some times when you've proven that perseverance isn't really the key at all.
For me, one instance in which I kept trying was when I taught myself to ride a bike all by myself. I was constantly falling down and I was about to give up. But, I continued on trying until I succeeded because I thought about this in my head, "If I can ride a bike I can get away from my older sister when she's in a bad mood and wants to hurt me". I'm serious about that. So I taught myself to ride a bike on that thought.
Now an instance where I thought I could achieve my goal if I persevered it failed came a short time later. Using the same mind set I had put myself in when I taught myself to ride a bike, I told myself that if I could do a wheelie I could get away from her trying to grab me and trow me off the bike. Well unfortunately it didn't work out so well, and some bruises and a busted knee, not a broken bone though, later I just gave up on it for fear of braking my leg.
Edit: I realize that this is probably going to get ignored.
