I have no idea, the genre of tentacle rape covers a lot of ground, disturbingly enough.

It was whenever Wanderer killed a Colossus, black shadows would emerge from its dead body and then shoot into Wanderers body from many orifices or through his torso.

Ico is, Escort Mission: The Game.
I only lasted 30 min with the PS2 original before I drove back to Blockbuster and dropped it off.

And you're proud of that? 30 minutes barely even gives you enough time to find Yorda, let alone solve any of the puzzles or fight to defend her. You probably should have put some more effort into it before declaring it awful. Plus, the game isn't even that hard.

I imagine that people who struggle with ICO would have more to worry about their own skills then the quality of the game.

I'm pretty sure he didn't say that he was proud of it or that he found it too hard. You're arguing against something that isn't there.

It just wasn't the game for me.

I got no enjoyment out of pulling the girl around, then hitting shadows with a stick, then solve a puzzle and pull her around again.

I heard that Ico actually has a two player mode where the second player can control Yorda. But it's only available after you finish the game. Lame.

That would have been something great to play with my friend. That would have been much better than me playing while she's just watching.
