Wasn't there a story a few months ago about some fans doing an HD-remake of SotC? Wonder how they feel about this.

That was just a tech demo. They weren't gonna do the whole game. It was just so we could see what an HD remake might look like if they ever did one. You know, like the one that was just officially announced

Because developing NEW games for the PS3 is highly overrated.

Seriously, God of War, Sly Cooper, and this can all go dive off a very tall cliff, hopefully into some spiky rocks. Enough with the ports of games from the last console generation, more new stuff.

I'm excited by this announcement. Never had a PS2, so I missed out on these games.

Oh fuck yes! Between this and the God of War Collection, there goes basically the two main reasons I wanted backwards compatibility on the PS3. Up the resolution to HD and fix the framerate issues in SotC, and I will be freaking ecstatic!

People bitching about backwards compatibility keep having their arguement,(or lack thereof) knocked down. Sly Cooper collection, God of War Collection, Now this? All they need to say to me now is Dark Cloud Collection. Maybe throw in Rogue Galaxy.
