Idea for an actually original WWII game.

I want to be in the Enola Gay and drop the nuke on Japan. Epic. I wish they would have ended CoDWaW with that mission.
Well, you could play as someone in Finland fighting to keep the country together (and sovereign). There were lots of things going on there...like the Winter War.
For example, you could play as Simo Hayha (with umlauts over the "a"s), also known as "the White Death" and "the awesomest sniper ever." (705 credited kills in less than 100 days. 505 of those were sniper kills with an *iron-sighted* bolt action rifle! And there are many other awesome things he did as well. I would play that game.

It would be interesting to play as a soldier, watching your army and people going from confident dominance, to determined resolve to quiet, then not-so-quiet, desperation as your enemies close in. I think it would have potential to make some interesting social commentaries.
Actually that's a pretty cool idea, you could even make it modern and have an MP5 and a sword and the game would have the same effect.
