You should be able to defy the laws of gravity! Oh, they already did that...
Um, explodable buildings, and C4, lot's of it...

Yes to all this.Hyper-space said:Ditch trying to make a better story, we need more ninjas and cheezy one-liners!
Fully destructive-environment would be boss, plus more laughably over-the-top explosions.
Also more stunt-moves, surfing on a jet-fighter 12000 meters up in the air, then jumping from that to another plane was exhilarating.
Yes. This would make the world a heck of a lot more compelling. I finished the story and all the missions, and there's only so much of the relatively limited destruction I can take before it all gets repetitive.AyreonMaiden said:Heh, what I'd truly love is more arbitrary non-action movie details.
I actually loved exploring Panau and finding settlements, but it sucked not having anything to do in them once you did find them, besides collecting parts and armor and of course, destroy them. I'd like more minigames and ways to make money outside of just destroying anything. I'd like to bet on dominoes, or poker, or cockfights, whatever. Deal drugs, arms, do courier runs, that sorta thing. More detail to make the country feel more alive.
There was a deserty area in the 2nd one. Which is where I spent the bulk of my time. It's more fun to tear around in a car when you're not surrounded by an impenetrable wall of trees.mireko said:*More locales. Look, a jungle is nice, but there isn't much to do with it. It's just there. How about going to different places? That would at least switch things up a little.
This. It would say their morale or communications went down and they sure still seemed able to summon a fleet of helicopters out of the ether for me blowing up one teensy little watertower.MetalDooley said:How about having all the destruction actually accomplish something. In JC2 I destroyed tons of military bases, radar facilities, communications facilities etc. yet it didn't seem to affect the Panaun military in the slightest
Yes! That mission was nearly my favourite one in the game, and it was within 20 minutes of starting a new file. When you do manage to get into a car chase, it really feels awesome.Zetona said:Other than that, all I can think of are small issues. There need to be more car chases. The police never seemed to eager to chase you if your Heat was low, and if it was high, they'd just send in the helicopters. There need to be more scenes like the very beginning of the game, where you stand on top of a car and shoot at the tires of the police cars following you. And then the police cars flip and explode. There need to be more ways to shoot from a speeding car, maybe with online co-op or competent AI drivers.
