If she is deranged or druged, that's for the police to concern themselves with after the fact, it has absolutely no baring on you defending yourself. If she's mistaken you for someone else, you are still implying that a reason to simply attack someone out of the blue exists. Even if she had that kind of reason (you would to have majorily wronged someone for most people to buy that) don't you think she would have been advised to actually attack the right person?

There is no rationalization to simply attack someone if they aren't a threat to you at the moment.

yeah but it means the difference between smashing their face in and restraining them...its better to restrain them if its clear she can;t hurt you all that much

I think the OP is asking "would you hit a girl" and the obvious answer as far as we can tell from the situation is "yes if I had too" I don;t really see the point in this question as there's not much to say

If someone ramdomly, out of no where, hits me in the face I will try my best to teach them a lesson. The lesson being that if you assault someone at random, you yourself, might end up in a wheelchair. I would punch her until she was on the ground and then I would kick her in the head.

I'm not a violent psycho and I have never started a fight (and only ended a fight twice) but I don't and won't tolerate people shittin' me like an assualt is. Girls are no exception. I'd even feel morally justified (accidentally, of course, I don't want to be a murderer) killing anyone who would attack me. She was obviously a piece of shit anyway if she is assaulting random strangers.

Good thing I'm a big guy with a distaste for alcohol/clubbing and a mean look on my face so I don't get in fights. I hated myself for "ending" those 2 fights the way I did it, but it's the only just thing to do if you have even a little respect for yourself.

while its ok to defend yourself there is no need to cause more damage than nessicary because you don't know why she is assulting you (I think thats the problem with this question)

she may not be aware of her actions due to mental illness/drugs...and being wheelchair bound wont help that at all

now if you were in serious danger then by all means go right on ahead...like if some guy broke into my house at night and if I were in that situation I wouldn't hold back...because in that case I really would be in danger

but if your not then why cause somone that much harm? if shes attacking you for literally no reason then she's not right in head

This happened once. I was hitting on her girlfriend to be fair, my reaction can be summarised as:

"Ow, what the fuck?"

she then explained to me her... situation, and kindly asked me to back off unless I don't like my nose. Her girlfriend didn't seem very happy at her or me to be honest. To quote my flatmate, "bitches be what bitches are. Crazy."

If she took a second swing I'd put her on the ground, though likely by taking out her knee rather than punching her, as I'm well aware of how much damage I can do with my fists. If she got back up and tried to keep going, then yes, absolutely. She's insane and I'm going to protect myself from the loony.

But then, that's no different to how I treat other blokes who try to pick fights with me.


... Oh, and for those wondering, I've already made the mistake of not fighting back when attacked by a woman once in my life, and I got a broken skull & other assorted injuries from being smashed with a wine bottle for my restraint.

Depending on the number of witnesses, I would press charges for assault. That's why we have the ability to do that, so that we don't hit back. If there are no witnesses though, I wouldn't bother. Courts would take her word over mine because I'm an evil male and clearly started it.

That goes beyond self defence, kicking someone in the head when they are down is almost always wrong - unless you know 100% when they get back up they will kill you.

In all seriousness I would probably try to defuse the situation through communication and restraint first, but if she was continually aggressive then I would have to.

First of all, it's not very nice what you did with my quote just to point out the irony. I think everyone who read it got the irony when I wrote it. It's supposed to, like, represent the duality of man, or, like, something.

Second, I'm not trying to defend myself in this situation. I'm a vigilante making the world a better place by stopping some random asshole from destroying other people's life. Which, I think most would agree, is something a violent unprovoked attack can easily do. I'm sure (without doing my research, mind you) that there are people out the who have never recovered from a violent attack, robbery, rape, etc. and can't comfortably walk around in public, be out in the evening and so on many years later or never again.

If she?s a bodybuilder or otherwise looks much stronger than me, then no, for obvious reasons. I?d ask her why she punched me, and if it was for an invalid reason (e.g. ?you dumped my friend?), then I?d just walk away. If it was for a valid reason (e.g. ?you killed my father?), then I?d just take it.

What are you trying to garner from the responses in this thread that you wouldn?t have gotten from the countless threads about women before anyway?
