If Aliens Were To Watch Mars Attacks...

...or in fact any sci-fi film when/if they arrive on Earth, what are they going to think? It is going to be a bit hard that we class wiping out an alien race in a galatic war as entertainment. Just a late night thought seeing as I've got Independence Day rolling in the background.

I don't think they'd understand what the fuck the movies are about.

If there indeed are Aliens with technology advanced enough for space travel, I doubt they'd look anything like the ones in our films. All they would see are really strange looking creatures being destroyed by humans.

I don't think that the concept of "moving pictures" would stick around with aliens, since they have holograms. In 3-D!

They probably won't have a clue what's going on. They likely won't look even vaguely humanoid, and probably lack a sense of sight. And if they do, they still wouldn't register what's actually going on, and would see either a bunch of pixels, or just two species attacking one another.

But, let's say they're like the stereotypical aliens. In that case, probably get pissed off/disgusted, and possibly try to kill us all or leave in disgust.

Maybe they'd find them entertaining or as a practical joke land on earth and demand to be taken to our leaders. Know one ever considers alien humour but I bet they enjoy a good laugh.

something tells me that we live in the hillbilly/mountian folk part of the universe, cause none of these advanced species seem to want to say high.

If these are streotypical uber-technical humanoids, I'm willing to bet that at one point in thier history they had movies about bizarre, alien creatures attacking them. They'd probably laugh and let it slide.
