If all consoles got destroyed and YOU Could save one console and all their games...what would it be?

PS3 - cuz i already played everything on my 360, the Wii has nothing, and i want Killzone 2.

If anything that plays games counts, PC because I could just emulate all the console games.

Yeah emulate a PS3/Xbox 360/Wii game. Have fun, I'll wait.

Not that this is really something I care about, but it's important to note that while it might take a couple years to emulate current gen consoles on the PC, you have absolutely no chance of emulating an Xbox 360 in the PS3 or vice versa.

But we don't have years to wait! We must act NOW!

"Then ignore it and think with your damn brain for a second! You will get killed out there! We'd all lose you!....I'd....lose you..."

DreamCast stifled a sob

"So, who's the one thinking with their heart now?"

"That's not the point! The point is that..*sniff*..that we can't lose a warrior like you! You're to valuable to the cause!"

"Then why aren't I fighting right now?"

"Because it's too dangerous even for a warrior of your stature. And we need you in the hospital treating the wounded anyway!"

"Then their deaths shall not be in vain..."

"Please...don't go....don't hurt me..."

"I will never forget you. And you will never forget this..."

Playstation gave a gentle kiss upon DreamCasts's lips. Strangely tasted like oranges.

PCs(only because they are useful for a lot of stuff, not just games). If they don't count, the SNES back in the day. If it's only today's systems then the PS3... I guess.

Of course I could save the Virtual Boy and all 12 games for it...

i'm actually mad you said virtual boy, well, if you needed a doorstop THAT bad......

PS2. Best console ever IMO. Never played on anything before PS1/N64 era so a bit biased.

I mean, the obvious asnwer is the PC.
You would just emulate all other consoles in it.

Choosing differently is a tad strange as I see it.

Arguing if a PC is or isn't dedicated for gaming is basically pointless.

You make your PC the way you want it to be.
In my case, it's a gaming rig first, and a working rig second.
It differentiates from person to person.

Also the fun thing about saving the PC is that you can use it for other things, unlike its inferior console brethren.
Unless you count using the PS2 as a paperweight like I've done with mine.

You can use the PS3 for other things too. As far as I know you can install Linux on it.

Just thought I mention that.

For consoles? PS2. Has all my favourite games, plays DVDs, and hasn't been broken (yet).
For gaming systems, obviously the PC.

Isn't a console a kind of gaming system. In fact that is the sole purpose of the consoles invention, to play video games.
