There is a trilogy that Raimi should do a 4th installment for, but it's not Spiderman.
"Hail to the king, baby."

Hell yeah man, I'd love to see another one! I wonder what new one liners they'll think up...

MacGuire is a horrible Peter Parker imo.

He is to much of a bumbling fool, without all the banter and wit that Spider-man has.
Honestly I didn't read the comics much. I've been trying to catch up on them and all but I found his portrayal pretty good. Yes he's more bumbling but he's just getting used to his powers in 1 and I'm willing to bet anybody would have a problem or two when they first fight somebody they've never encountered. And yes there's a lack of witty lines but it feels like a quip would be out of place a lot of the times.

I take it you didn't find his improv of him trying to get the web to shoot in 1 very funny then?
That web part was okey, but all in all he feels to emo (in all the movies, in fact the only time he isnt emo is when he is wearing black.. go figure), and he lacks the spirit of Spider-man
I could argue quite easily that about half the random comic arcs I picked up had Peter being a lot more brooding than the movies showed him. Besides, with the stuff that happened to him I think it was an appropriate reaction. I can't exactly see anybody mentally sound realising that they could have saved a life if they'd known about or had the ability that they know they did at one point.

I loved Raimi's Spider Man films, but I don't think there should be anymore. I hate the idea of a "reboot" when there was nothing wrong with the first trilogy and it is less than 5 years old.

Doesn't really make any sense but I'm willing to see the film. I don't think it will be any good, but I'll see it just to confirm or deny. If it turns out to be good... okay, great. If it turns out to be shit, big fucking surprise.

I loved the first 2 Spider-Man movies, but I don't really want McGuire or Raimi back if the reboot happens to fail.

With Spider-Man 3 you could see that everyone involved was getting kind of tired making these big, fat blockbusters. John Dykstra even left after Spidey 2, and Danny Elfman did the same or was simply booted off the project. Tobey McGuire was loosing his boyish charm, and Kirsten Dunst started to look really old and tired.

He did a great job, but I'd rather have Sam Raimi move on to other things that might peak his interest than to be stuck making another Sider-Man movie.

The first two were great, and actually stand together quite well.
No need for the third.
*the frakkin'dance.....*

Then again, i also firmly believe there is ONE Matrix movie.
I might be insane, then so be it.

There are two spidey movies, both are great fun. END.

Well since Andrew Garfield is freaking AWESOME, I for one, do NOT want this movie to bomb.

I'm one of the few that are actually excited.
