If Bethesda makes another Elder Scrolls where would you want it to be?

High Rock and Hammerfell, because Bretons and Redguards are both BAMFs. And Hammerfell has a desert apparently.

Well I'd like to see Valenwood with full on roaming tree-cities but I imagine that would be a nightmare for travelling/programming so it either Valenwood won't happen or they'll find some way (probably through the Main Quest antagonist being evil) of stopping the trees. Failing Valenwood I'd like a game set in the Summerset Isles with the intention of destroying the Aldmeri Dominion or one set in Elsweyr for the Desert/Jungle fun. If they wanted to take us really far away then I think it's be good going to Akavir or even just a part of it or alternatively a game set in Atmora because I want to see where the Nords originally come from.

Valenwood, Elsweyr and Black marsh would be nice... also i myself would like to actually see some other races from TES lore... possibly playable...

Also, Akavir... why haven`t they done some games about it...!?

No love for the Sumerset Isles? ;_;

Well, the Sumerset Isles. I expect magical happenings to happen.

Black Marsh probably. Or Akavir. I think in the lore the Nerevarine from Morrowind disappeared there. Maybe the plot could be to do with finding him/her, or what he/she went to find?

SUmmerset Isle or Valenwood. And I'm fairly certain one/both of these will be the next elder scrolls, considering the almeri domination being remade (or whatever it's called). Elsweyr would be pretty cool though; jungle, deserts, cats, a diverse and different sort of game.

The Black Marsh. I always roll Argonians. I want to be the home team for once.
Hopefully we'd get the option to start out as a Shadowscale in the Dark Brotherhood :D
Shame that wont happen though.

OT: Pretty much anywhere really... Each country is pretty unique, or at least has something interesting about it. Although somewhere with a strong Dominion presence would be cool so that we could fight them.

Akavir, or one of the other continents.
This. I think it would be so cool if you got to take part in a second invasion of Akavir. That could be the setup but I have know idea how they'd end up letting you explore Akavir as an open world cause everything would be hostile. They could just let us play as one of the races from Akavir but they are all beast races so I don't know if that would make everyone happy.
Not everything has to be hostile though; remember that the Blades originated on Akavir (most evident in the weaponry they use: katanas).
They do have Akaviri origins but that was still in Tamriel when Akavir invaded. There were some Akaviri who switched sides and fought for the Empire. They became the original blades and helped Talos become the new emperor.
Still, there is so much mystery surrounding Akavir that I'm sure Bethesda could come up with a reason for some of them not attacking your player on-sight.

Elsweyr would be awesome, but it's rather small compared to the Skyrim/Cyrodiil so could combine with Valenwood/Black Marsh :) Would be epic!

Argonians hate elves? Huh. My last follower in Skyrim was a Dark Elf. My character must have been raised by very open minded Argonians. >_>
I'm speaking very generally, but yeah, as a whole they probably do. The Dunmer in particular have captured and enslaved thousands of Argonians in the past (ever played Morrowind?), and in the years between Oblivion and Skyrim the Argonians of Black Marsh have successfully invaded and took over large areas of Morrowind.

Since Black Marsh shares a border with Morrowind (and the inhabitants of each hate each other), they've been fighting on and off for centuries.
I've never played Morrowind so I wouldn't know.

Here's where I think it should take place:

Here's my full thoughts regarding this idea:

I've discussed this many times with a friend of mine, and we've both concluded a brilliant strategy in order to expand the world size and variety of the next Elder Scrolls game.

Each Elder Scrolls sequel has always expanded on the size of the province of the previous game, ensuring a much larger world to explore. Hell, on that map, you can clearly see that Cyrodiil is much larger than Skyrim, but why don't you ask someone who explored both which is the larger landmass? Cyrodiil is the largest province in Tamriel, followed by the full of Morrowind, then Skyrim--cartographically speaking. Summerset Isles or Elsweyr on their own would just be such a downgrade to what Skyrim accomplished.

We've spend a lot of time in both High Rock (Daggerfall) and Hammerfell (Redguard/Daggerfall). I've only ever imagined Valenwood as a massive forest which, on it's own, would get very old very quickly, so that's out. Black Marsh could be varied in environment, but I find most people don't like the aspect of a swamp being the main setting for an RPG.

So what's left? No province on their own is ideal for a setting the an Elder Scrolls sequel without retreading old, well established ground or falling into the trap of monotony in regards to environments. The solution?

Have a game set in MULTIPLE provinces.

Here's the brilliant idea that me and my friend came up with that will never be used by Bethesda. Basically just have this entire section of Tamriel be the new setting for the game:

I know it sounds crazy, but think about it. With all that shit regarding the Aldmeri Dominion Taking over Valenwood AND most of Cyrodiil, the province borderlines probably won't even resemble what I've just shown you. Elsweyr and Black Marsh would support their own independence of course, but what if the empire collapsed after yet another Great War with the Dominion? What if Elsweyr reclaimed the Cyrodiilic western shore of the Niben Bay and Black Marsh took back the eastern shore of Blackwood? The entire game would be RIFE with political factions and multiple opportunities of war and racial strife! Not to mention the most environmentally varied game that the Elder Scrolls series has ever produced with elven woods, deserts, tropical jungles, and swamplands! IT'S FUCKING PERFECT!!!

Ahem...

So, anyone else like this idea? :D
