If Bethesda makes another Elder Scrolls where would you want it to be?

Myself personally would like it to be in Hammerfell, Black Marsh, or Valenwood. Hammerfell because I think an Elder Scrolls game in the desert would be awesome. Black Marsh because Argonians are cool and swamps are awesome. And Valenwood because I think an an entire land of forest would be a real graphical challenge for Bethesda. And tree cities rule.
Well it's not that I really want it but I'm almost sure the next episode will be set in Summerset Island. After the might the magic.

Just saying since when Oblivion came out and there was a thread on Bethesda forums about where the next one it would be I actually guessed it would have been Skyrim.

Also almost sure after Summerset Island it will be Black Marsh.

Totally Hammerfell. I haven't seen any desert regions in the Elder Scrolls games yet (note: I've only played Oblivion and Skyrim)

Black Marsh. Because the argonians took over a lot of Morrowind after the fourth era started, and a game with Black Marsh would probably also feature some of Morrowind :D

That or maybe Summerset Isles. Sounds like a pretty cool place, and the Sload look kinda awesome.

Hmm...High Rock,Hammerfell,Elswyr,Black Marsh,or the devestated Vvardenfell. The first few because we were never there. The last one because...I sorta wanna see if Creeper's still there. He was my cash cow.

Valenwood, reason why comes from my love of all things Elvish in TES and because of part of Skyrims story I think it would make a good follow on.

So as you may or may not be aware in Skyrim the Thalmor and Dominion have taken up arms and I believe they reside in part in the Valenwood? I'd like to see a game based in Valenwood under Thalmor oppression and an uprising as a continuation of their story and prehaps how they are defeated/if they are defeated by angry wood elves and an Imperial Coalition, because we are badass.

I think it would be cool to see the desert lands that the khajiit come from, Elsweyr I think. Valenwood would be interesting as well; I always play as a Bosmer.

Elsweyr honestly has the best marketing possibilities, and it sounds cool as hell. Elsweyr/Black Marsh together, anyone?

I really want to explore the Sommerset Isles :) I've been dying to see them.

I've become very tired and very bored with the generic white-people mythologies. I get it, viking/nordic/celtic mythology is easy to capitalize on. But I want something as strange and exotic as Morrowind was.

Sommerset Isle or Valenwood, so we can destroy the Aldmeri Dominion. Hate them so much. Otherwise, I want to see a game that lets us go farther, maybe over to where the Akaviri came from, or a game entirely in the different Oblivion realms. I have so many ideas for this series.

valenwood vs, elsweyr it will be a war and you can travel in both lands between the slums of the Kajit and the tree cities of the wood elfs and you need to pick a side.
or Summerset Isle it could be great like in a hundred years from skyrim in the glass towers and the magic it could be awesome.
or they can trigger the fifth age of tamrial and set like 1000 years later and between game there was a big disaster and they could reboot the entire world with new races lands back story, that would be fucking badass.

yes i am a huge nerd

Absolutely the Summerset Isles.
Why? So many reasons.
Remember how interesting Morrowind's world was? Giant mushrooms, barren volcanic fields, that sort of thing? In Summerset, there is so many more interesting places than in Oblivion or Skyrim! How about a city carved into coral? Bethesda could even add Pyandonea, the mysterious jungle island south of Summerset. Little is know of Pyandonea, so it could lead to some interesting quests and creatures, including the Maormer; the Sea Elves.
The Psijic Order come from Summerset, so maybe they could have a quest line of some sort?
Here's a few cut's from the Lore page, and my comments.

''The island has idyllic orchards and clear pastures, still and silent lagoons, misty woodlands, and the unique Psijic architecture that seems to be as natural as its surroundings. The Ceporah Tower is a relic from a civilization that predates the High Elves by several hundred years. It is the location of the Dreaming Cavern, which Sotha Sil once used as some sort of portal into the realms of Oblivion, but which has since been sealed off by the Psijics.''

See? Lagoons, woodland, pastures, and cool new architecture.
A portal to Oblivion? Maybe a quest line for the Psijic Order?

''The island was once removed from the world in a similar fashion to Umbriel, but reappeared about 500 years later. The island once again disappeared around 100 years before the Skyrim civil war, and has not been seen since.''

This is perfect! Maybe you start off in mainland Tamriel, and the Thalmor are being exiled and forced to board their ships and flee, without any idea where they are going. If you choose to play as an Altmer then you can be a Thalmor officer, and if you play something else you are a prisoner! Maybe, for some reason, your ship strays from the others, and you rediscover Summerset?

I'm excited now! DAMN IT BETHESDA, MAKE IT IN SUMMERSET!!

Elswyr, hands down.

In fact, if the Thalmor enslaving Khajiit is any indication, that province already has the set pieces for building a main quest, you could have it involve the protagonist having to deal with the Thalmor being at war with an anti-Thalmor rebellion consisting mainly of Khajiit.

Or you could have it be a sub-quest (much like Skyrim's civil war was), and make the main quest involve yet another anchient threat of a certain sort (like Oblivion and Skyrim had), that would work too.

I want Black Marsh purely because it's the racial homeland of all my TES characters.

That would be awesome.

Btw, your avatar gets me every time. Merry trolling!

Hammerfell. Because hammerfell fought off the thalmor, but the empire was forced to release it to keep the treaty between them and the thalmor. I think i'd be interesting to see how it does now that it's no longer part of the empire.

I wouldn't particularly like to see Black Marsh because its supposed to be a fetid dump where nothing can survive except argonians. The environment would probably be pretty samey and the dreary. And hammerfell/elsweyr are both deserts and I'm not keen on deserty settings much.

Soooo, if I had to pick one place, I'd say Summerset Isles. Its another elven homeland, so you could have a lot of cool cities and weird crap going on, like Morrowind only not as gloomy. Just read Popadoo's post (116) cos' he explains it pretty well.

Valenwood would be cool too. I can imagine a lot of creepy psychological woodland shit working well, you might stumble into a glade and find impaled things from some ritual. A bit like in those slenderman myths. Could have hosts of weird and wonderfull creatures and some interesting possibilities for cities too. Dunno what the main villain or threat would be.
