If death comes in threes, who is next?

We lost Roger Ebert to cancer on April 4th, and Margaret Thatcher to a stroke on April 8th. As the saying goes, "death comes in threes". With that in mind, who will make it three?

My guess is someone younger than Ebert and Thatcher, possibly in an accident. Maybe an athlete?

I wonder what will happen if it is Kim Jong Un.

Do you think we'd get a crazier replacement, or a normal one?

Possibly Mandela, another huge political figure of the last century and aged 94, he likely doesn't have that long left besides even his recent hospital visit.

Hey! Does the death of Annette Funicello not mean anything to you? 'Cause, y'know, she died yesterday, and was at one point quite a big star (granted, not since the '60s, but still...).

Well, I was a little bit sad about it, anyway.

Huh. Didn't hear about that. Not that I'm familiar with her, but I guess any news about her was covered up by the news of Thatcher's death.

I only heard because I'm in a class on Walt Disney, and my professor was a big fan. I mean, I knew she was sick, but I wouldn't have heard about her death otherwise.

Not that she's exactly a big name anymore, and probably wouldn't count for the "three deaths" anyway, but I figured I'd bring it up anyway. ;D

She's a big name to me. :( I watched Babes in Toyland last night in memory. Mostly because it is the only Annette movie I have.

The actor Richard Griffiths passed away recently. Perhaps he counts as a member in this trio of death?

I'd wager it's going to be this [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/profiles/view/] guy and it's going to happen quite soon...

It's stretching it. He died on March 28th, a week before Roger Ebert. Still might be close enough to count, though.

One of the guys who invented Barry Allen and inadvertently started the silver age of comics, Carmine Infantino [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carmine_Infantino] died last week too. Barry Allen may not be my favorite Flash, but there is no Wally West without Barry Allen, so I'm grateful to this man.

Thatcher's number three, Hugo Chavez died a month ago.

Alternatively, there's a Grand Prix this weekend, nineteen years since the last driver died at one. But that would be horrible.

Exactly who i was thinking, though apparently he is on the up. Well, as up as he can get as his age.

Wait what, WHY ;A;, I loved his films and he goes and dies out of nowhere just like Michael Clarke Duncan.

This really hits me hard knowing that re watching the HP films is going to make me sad looking back on those times.

Somebody noticed I exist. Intriguing.

TIME TO EXPLAIN!

I have cerebral palsy. If you don't what that is, it is a disability that affects the brain, more specifically your fine/gross motor skills. I got off lucky (see....) and only had the fine motor skills in the right side of my body impacted. I was playing TF2 one time, and I got harassed for standing still. I tried to explain, but NO..they had to be mean about it(this usually gets people to shut up about it).

Hence the name. And yes. I suck at TF2. Not the worst, but whatcha gonna do when you play with one hand?

I was born with it, and I'm in high school.

I never understood this ridiculous "death comes in threes" nonsense. People just die, there's a lot of us. If you check the obituaries, you can claim people die in alphabetical order. It's stupid.
