Bethesda or Bioware, since they're both large studios and could put use to EA's soulless drones and teach them how to feel again.

EDIT: Have you ever herped so hard you derped? I just did.
How did you pull that one off.....

OT:
Well there are alot of IP's your talking about here, so a few off the top of my head:

Wing Commander: RSI (Roberts Space Industries), it'd be good to see him make another Wing Commander game!

Command and Conquer: Petroglyph obviously :p

Sim City (and Maxis in general): Paradox Interactive, they've made some great games and I think they could pull off Maxis games well, especially Sim City.

Crytek, DICE and Bioware I would hope would go independent again, after all their all getting large enough to become publishers themselves.

Thats all I can think of atm.

I would like to see bethesda pick up bioware because they could really make some great RPGs, second choice would be the Blizzard side of Blizzard Activision

and the Ulitma license should go back to RG so Portalarium

Isn#t Crytek still independent from EA?
After all they are planning to publish homefront 2 without the help from EA

To be honest I'm not certain, I haven't followed them much so if that's the case (which thinking about it probably is a yes) then I'd hope they'd take one of the smaller teams under their wing.

Also Need for Speed/Burnout devs (Criteon? cant remember the spelling), would like to see them take those 2 games and go to Sony or better yet go independent and grow themselves.

Ideally, I would like to see popcap go to nintendo, their library would work well on the 3ds and hopefully see Nintendo use them to branch out into mobile games.

Square-enix can have Maxis or whoever makes the Sim games as they seem to handle PC games well enough.

I'm torn on Bioware as I would kind of like to see what Bethesda would do with their properties, but I would like to see what CD Projekt could turn out too.

I would also be interested in seeing what the developers of the Metro games would do with DICE's properties, might hurt the multiplayer though, so I'm mostly just referring to single player.

I would like to also see the Dead Space developer buy their own IP back and see what they would make under someone like Ubisoft or Take-Two.

But that's all hypothetical, I have no idea what would actually happen if EA went under, most of it's miner properties would probably sit dormant and unsold for a long time.

WHY!? That game was such a mediocre paint-by-numbers puddle of nothing. Who is clamoring for more attempts at a soul via genocide?

If that happened I would either want Bioware to go on their own again and create the games they want or get picked up by either Obsidian or CD Projekt Red. In fact I think CD Projekt Red needs to buy both Obsidian and Bioware. Dice would most likely get picked up by Activision.

Take Two looks like a respectable publisher.
I know that's not really a hard thing compared to everyone else, but they seem to know their stuff.

I'd rather it be Sony and Nintendo since I can't see Valve sharing the obtained assets with the console side, but if it were ninty and Sony there would be a good chance of both sides getting some of the pie.

Not Microsoft though, no they don't get any of the pie and they can get out.
