Alyx... is difficult. She doesn't really look Asian to me, half or at all.
Morgan Freeman definitely has the looks for Eli... not sure about the voice though.

Nah, he's gonna have too much on his plate the next half-decade what with the Avengers movie and any Holmes sequels (of which there will be *at least* one).

I say do a nationwide (maybe worldwide) casting call and pick someone who excels in theater or something. Someone with real talent that hasn't had their big break yet.
