No no, don't worry; it's not another one of those miserable threads again!

I'm just interested in what games you would love to play again for the very first time.

Mine would have to be Oblivion and KotOR.

Oblivion for the simple fact that there's so much in the game, and yet I've now seen almost all of it. Just to have that experience of coming out of the sewers and just walking around without a clue as to what to do. There's nothing special about knowing where to find everything now.

KotOR would have to be just for that moment. Superb.

What about you?

Yeah Oblivion. When you step out of the sewers you cant help but feel small. And in a game that is beautiful.

But you RUIN it by making a good thread that?s original... Damn you...

Day of the Tentacle. It was one of my first point'n'click games, so I had to make use of the walkthrough a lot. Knowing how to do everything kind of ruins these sorts of games, so I'd like to be able to find out how to finish it on my own.

Guild Wars! I loved not knowing ANYTHING about it! The shock when the searing happened, the amazement when I seen Lion's Arch, everything! I'd just love to go back and have that feeling over again!

Morrowind.
It was so cool the first time I played it. All new and huge and exciting. I had never played anything like it before.
But when I figured out how everything worked, it just became boring.
I want it to be awesome again.

Star Control 2.

Flying around the galaxy with a half-finished ship, attempting to find resources and allies to your side and defeat the evil Ur-Quan who enslaved humanity(along with most other races in the galaxy). But then as the story unfolds, good and evil become more relative, puzzles become harder, the ship gets upgraded and every now and then something happens to either make you go WTF from the unexpectedness of it all, or make you burts into laughter.

And throughout this all, a good storyline keeps the hook sunken in and the excellent dialogues would be more fitting in a Book Of The Year instead of a computer game.

Having played it trough so often, it gets a bit repetitive. And I don't want that to happen.

As an FYI, thank Haruhi for the modernized 'Ur-Quan-Masters' version of the game and its makers.

Defiantly Oblivion or maybe even the Lord of the rings: Battle for middle-earth campaign. It is still fun nowadays but doesn't have the same feel to it as it did originally.

If I could find a way I'd take back those words that hurt you and you'd stay

Oblivion...if you can get into RPG's like i can..you can actually, mentally become your character, and be in the world that character is in. the feeling i got when i stepped out of those sewers for the first time, stole the Elder Scroll, ventured through Oblivion and back, explored the vastness of Cyrodil and it's amazing surroundings...being stripped of everything to make it through a mental training dream...every single detail of that game ((all expansions included)) was just breath-takingly astounding...and words simply can't describe the feeling you get when fully immersed, and travelling through Cyrodil, especially since that music fits perfectly..Oblivion...is the perfect game...and is by far the most amazing "first time playing" experience in the history of gaming...

THe Half life franchise so I can have this great experience everyone else had. Or back to the PS1 era to experience the JRPGs I missed.

Diablo 2. It was a magical moment. I was hyped for over a month about this game, then I got to FINALLY play it at my cousin's PC.

*sniff*

Or Neverwinter Nights, but without the constant crashes due to crappiness of my PC. It was the first game that required me to change my CPU.
