If you could choose only one comic-book-character to exist: what would it be? Now remember: Every promotional product would also disappear, when a character does, meaning: If you dont choose batman, there is no awesome batman NES games or the movies. Same goes with superman and every other character.

My choise would be Judge dredd. Ok, so there are BAD games and a BAD movie, but I just love the character so much, thaat i can look past the horrible games etc.

Unfortunately I think I have to go for Batman. There are far more awesome characters but missing the whole Batman franchise is something you just can't do.
If it's only about awesomeness then probably the Green Lantern Corps. Hey, they protect the entire universe, not one crappy city like Superman. (Or is it allowed to take the whole JLA? Thinking that not)
